You will care about it even less when Konta ruins Haleps chances once again in a couple of rounds
I agree with McEnroe, Serena would be ranked about 700 in the men's rankings.

US Open coming, poor Sloane Stephens now ranked 3rd but having to defend 2.000 points here, so if she doesn't she'll fall back to place 6 or 7

Osaka did the right thing & remained calm through the whole saga.
Serena is like a spoilt child. She gets very nasty when things don't go her way.
She even played the sexism card out there.
She made Osaka's win about her & took the glory away from her.

The umpire went by the rule book at every stage. Serena had a real sense of entitlement there. She also uses her Daughter to justify her point that SHE could never cheat. Serena said she never got coached but then her coach said he coached her.
I would have an ounce of sympathy for her if she had not done this before.

Simona Halep going without a coach into the new wta season
''i want to chill more'' she said
i stand by her decision, most of her problems were caused by stress, pressure which was her coach to blame for, Cahill is still a good friend to her giving advice off court and he wanted to step down as well due to family reasons
it's risky maybe, but sometimes risks can pay off, and maybe if she is more relaxed, has more fun she can possibly win more titles  cause with stress, pressure she wasn't winning that much titles anyway

6-4, 6-4 loss for halep against barty
not that bad tbh, given this was halep's first match after coming back from an injury, she didn't play bad but barty had more match rhythm and that decided the end result of this match
so halep get that match rhythm in and you'll be fine for australian open :D

Love his style of play.
Yeah he lost his cool a bit this match, he has been brilliant all through to now however.
Definitely for me one of the new younger players who'll dominate in the future.
He could have been 2 sets to the good as to the first two sets.
Djokovic is excellent however.
Would have been nice to see a new name winning this time.

I really like Djokovic as a Tennis player (even if he can be silly at times) but this Wimbledon has to be the most boring Wimbledon that I've ever seen, literally only two players were able to even take a set off Djokovic this entire tournament.
Obviously that isn't Djokovic's fault, but the seeding system needs to be fixed imo as the number one Seed has it too easy to win Wimbledon imo, Djokovic probably would've still won anyway (which I personally don't mind) but at least give him a bit of a challenge.

I do think he’s rather lucky to be the ONLY outstanding player still genuinely competitive - he could easily go onto to win 30+ majors now .

The object is to win the tournament, when she does that, put her on the news.
Don't think I've ever seen a great rugby league achievement being a main headline on the news.
The participation trophy generation. She's won nothing yet, come back when she does.

I agree with Alf. Most hadn't heard of her a few months ago now its 'C'mon Emma'.
Only on amazon prime annoyingly which is ridiculous for one of only four majors
Thank you
No wonder I couldn’t find it :)

Raducana makes history by becoming the youngest ever grand slam finalist and first qualifier to reach the final, she will be the favourite in the final against her opponent who is also unseeded

I can't wait for the women's final. It should be a good one and completely unexpected.
I'm not too interested in Djokovic winning in three sets against Medvedev. It's getting boring at this point (though I am not taking away any of his talent to produce an excellent tennis and putting the bar so very high)

I saw the first set LIVE but then couldn’t stay awake any longer -but she was playing marvellously well .
I will certainly be watching the whole of the final as that should be absolutely spectacular!
The other youngster has had a much harder run to the final ... beating the world number 2 , 3 and 5 plus a former world number one .
I have zero idea who will win .

yes Zizu, Leylah is indeed very talented, showed her determination and fighter spirit in many games this tournament already
Emma is good, but this final will be soooo close, and it will come down to the one who has more focus right until the end of the match
so i think Leylah will win, in tight 3 sets
Wow !!

yes, but hoping Kim Clijsters will also be in at Indian Wells
her comeback she lost her first round match this week but still made it into a 3rd set, and showed she still has some fight in her
just needs more match rhythm now, so Indian Wells might be good for her to take part only for that extra rhythm
she's still not bad for a 38 yr old
