That was the best episode of Skins ever! I actually felt quite sorry for Tony, Which I don't usually do! And Sid was excellent in it! Played the part so well!

But that Josh is waaaaay weirder then I first thought! I eam he could have just punched Tony like everyone else had, But it was kinda obvious from the beginning that the whole kidnapping thing involved Josh. I mean he did say to Michelle last week that he was crazy!

This episode had such an anti-climax. I didn't like it, and it was quite predictable most of the time. But it did leave me with a smile on my face though.
As for ratings, the season finale attracted 0.7 million viewers on E4, which isn't its highest rated show of the series (excluding the first episode). Here are the ratings in full:

The Skins Secret Party Special will be broadcast exclusively on MySpace from tonight, Friday 17 August, at 10pm. Series 2 Spoilers from DS.

The hugely popular, zeitgeist-capturing Skins is back for its second series on E4 in February, this time running for ten episodes.

Here's a shocker (not): Tony is alive. Hurrah! The new series is set six months after the conclusion of the last - and Tony is a changed man, in fact a shadow of the man his best mate Sid always looked up to.

As for Sid, he finally got together with Cassie in the missing six months, only for her parents to whisk her away to Scotland. All Cassie can dream of is one day returning to Sid and for them to live happily ever after.... aww! Hang on, there's a whole series to fill! Let's assume it isn't as simple as that.

Michelle has family troubles of her own. Her mother has married another man (bye bye, Danny Dyer), in the process bestowing her with a randy step-sister who keeps trying it on with all of her mates.

Another shock now - Maxxie actually has a family! His dad's giving him grief over his ambitions to follow his dreams and be a dancer. Best friend Anwar has bagged himself a secret girlfriend...

Jal is also a changed character. She's decided to ditch the good girl image and let her hair down for a change. Finally, poor Chris. Having been expelled, he's now resolved to step out on his own and make his way in the big wide world.

Some new Skins 2 spoilers....


1. Series two is set six months after the conclusion of the first. Tony is alive following his collision with a car, but he is now severely impaired: he can't write, he struggles to hold a fork and he remembers little about the world around him.


2. Episode one is all about Maxxie, who opens the new series with a slammin' dance routine in a church. We get the first look at his family life - he has a dad! And a mum! And a dog! - and the homophobia he suffers from the ASBO boys on his estate.

3. Cassie is now living in Scotland, but is keeping in contact with her boyfriend Sid by sending video tapes through the post. Only thing is, there are two Scottish boys dancing with her in her latest video. Sid, jealous? Never!

4. Guest starring this series is Bill Bailey (the one from Buzzcocks that looks like a caveman) as Maxxie's dad Walter. Expect to see him standing up for his son, falling out with his son... and performing a dance routine with a dog.

5. Things go from bad to worse for Chris this series as he is expelled and rendered homeless for getting up to something naughty in the Science corridor. But could his luck be about to change? I hear he ends up finding romance with a female character. And it's not Michelle.

6. Maxxie's getting some action! The toe-tapper has a filthy encounter in a forest with a very unlikely suspect.

7. Tony's troublesome sister Effy has a bigger role this series, while Michelle has a new, manipulative step-sister called Scarlett who has designs on one of her friends.

8. Episode two introduces the mysterious character of Sketch, who has been stalking one of the gang.

9. Prepare yourselves for a jaw-dropper. Two characters that you never thought would get together will, by around episode four. Any guesses?

10. The first five episodes focus on, in order: Tony and Maxxie (joint ep), Sketch, Sid, Michelle, Chris.

I thought skins was ok but I found that main guy really annoying and his acting was pretty bad too compared to the others. The geeky one and the crazy anorexic girl were best. I'll have to watch tonight to see if it's any good. That main guy got run over at the end of last series anyway didn't he?

Sid tripping was classic!!! They seem to have captured the essence of how you feel with various substances.

The sixth-form drama production is heading for disaster under the guidance of lecherous drama teacher Bruce. Maxxie thinks someone is watching him. Unfortunately, it's loner Sketch, who's in love with him and determined to make sure no-one else can have him, especially his leading lady Michelle.

I liked tonight show, but I felt it was a little dull compared to others.

Too much singing and not enough on the actual characters. Sketch is an interesting character, and I would have loved to seen more about her rather then the play.

Good show though, and I look forward to Sid's show next week.

All the episodes this series so far have had a really dark edge to them, which can be good but i think Skins needs to be more fun again, I loved the first half of this episode which was played more for laughs. The second half was well done though.

As far as this series is concerned its a lot darker and goes very deep into the characters. The last series was very party, party party, lots of off their faces episodes but I think this series is better because we're going deeper into the cast.

I used to hate Tony in the first series, I thought he chap who played him was crap and just didnt connect with him but this series....he has blown me away, he has made me laugh and I really believe in him.

I cant wait for the next episode
