Spam will not be tolerated. This includes posting posts made entirely of smileys and posting GIFs 24/7. The odd post like this is fine, but when it becomes frequent, or you appear to add not much else to the forum, a warning/infraction may be given. The one exception to this, is in the LF discussion thread, where screepcaps of what is happening are often posted. Creating multiple thread on the same subject also qualifies as spam. We do not expect you to read every post, however, it is easy to scan through the first page and see if there is already a thread on the subject you are discussing...before you post your thread.

I suppose something like that could work during off season but not during BB, things get very heated in there and sometimes a one day ban gives members enough time to calm down then they come back and actually discuss things like adults again.

Yep a lot stricter, both on and off season, if the # points per infraction given is lowered and at a set amount i think people will definitely calm down a lot

if you're getting three points per infraction you've only got 3 lives (if you will) and you're out, if you lower that to two points or one and give each offence a set # of points that all members are aware of, they can't contest it, because it's in black and white

Lots of people do it, I just ignore to an extent but we get some really nasty ones that I do infract for.

We do read the majority of stuff, but a lot of its just skim reading..I don't personally read through every post properly just to check fro rulebreaks. What a lot of people need to understand here is, we are members aswell as mods. We arent here solely to sort out your messes. Its not like other sites that pay mods to do a job, we give up our free time to (attempt to) keep this site running well. Yeah we make mistakes sometimes, and when pointed out, if we agree its a mistake we have no issues reversing whatever we did (members have agreed in here..members who have had bans/infractions reversed) however a PM full of crap is not going to make us remove an infraction. Nor is saying your offensive post was a joke. Sorry.

I actually think we are pretty lenient, especially during off season when the place is quieter, we don't enjoy banning people regardless of what some may think, some of us even give a warning type comment when a member is due to be banned like 'you are one point off of a ban'
