Some details about season 2:

Season 2 picks up several months after the original killing spree, and Emma (played by Willa Fitzgerald) has just returned to Lakewood after trying to recover at a retreat. Key word: “trying.” Her friends and family are walking around her on eggshells and questioning whether Emma has truly gotten over the deeply traumatic turn of events — including that time she watched her boyfriend get cut in half by a piece of farm machinery (RIP Will, that must have hurt).

Meanwhile, fan favorite Brooke (Carlson Young) is now officially dating Jake (Tom Maden) — see ya, Mr. Branson — but the two are keeping their romance a secret from her father, the we-still-think-he’s-shady Mayor Maddox.

Meanwhile, the all-knowing Noah (John Karna) is giving us more reasons to stan for him: He’s donned his Sherlock Holmes hat yet again and is slowing getting closer to the truth about the Season 1 murders. And oh yeah, that brings us to a certain someone who just happened to be spotted burning letters from Piper at the tale end of last season’s finale and suggesting that she had a connection to the carnage: Audrey (Bex Taylor-Klaus). This season, Miss Jensen-if-you’re-nasty is desperately trying to hide her association with the killer — too bad she’s being harassed by someone who knows the truth (karma’s a bitch, honey).

According to MTV Scream - France, the opening scene of the season premiere will take place on a road that leads to Lakewood, there was a storm so the road was blocked, all the characters were in their cars but a group is going to be out on The road and someone we know will be with them, they will be killed violently.

I'm not too sure what to make of this one with the prank and the movie thing. It's like a mix of the Scream 2 and Scream 4 opening.

I really enjoyed, it felt refreshing. I'm pleased Jake was killed off and the way he was killed was kind of extreme. I think the whole plot with Audrey and the new killer is very interesting, so the new killer is stalking Audrey? I found Noah a tad annoying in the episode. I love Zoe she is amazing, and the new teacher is good.

Yep it was.

It's a lot different to season 1 with new locations and interiors, I don't think they used anything from season 1 apart from Emma's house in the episode.
New characters are interesting.

There's a more psychological aspect to it, especially with Emma who struggles emotionally.

It's darker and more extreme with the deaths.

Glad they killed off a Season 1 original in this episode, they needed to if they wanted to open the new season with real stakes tbh. It's ironic though that I was demanding Jake's death all last season, and this episode I actually found him more likeable. Oops. :hee:

The new mystery was set up nicely and I love that it's all tying back to Audrey's involvement with Piper. I hope we see her this season in flashbacks as that story unfolds.

S2 is watchable, I enjoyed most of Season 1 apart from the ending and I think S2 has suffered because they've had to extend this storyline beyond it's natural lifespan but it's been better than I thought it would be.

The teacher is definitely my top pick for the killer at the moment.

It seems odd that both of the main characters killed off have been in relationships with Brooke.

I mean it seems sort of strange that Mr B was killed off, what was the killers motive? Only one I can think off is that the teacher was angry with Mr B for "going back to Brooke".

Perhaps she knew about Brooke and Mr B and took a dislike to her because of it.

And if season 1 proves anything it's that the killer is obvious.

I think it could be Brooke with the creepy artist with the hot bod as her accomplice. I got no motives or evidence but I just can hear everything the killer says in Brooke's voice and I think some incidental stuff like the colour of her Pageant dress and the whole theme of her arc this season suggests it.

I'm also starting to think that it could be Brooke and the reason she wanted Jake killed was because she found out that he was doing a job for her Dad which was like the final betray of her trust. I also do think Keiran is involved too, and that he was possibly shagging Piper (sorry to be blatant). They've done a really good job of making everyone a suspect this season, at one point I was sure it was Maggie, it still could be, but I guess we'll find out.

Yes, Emma needs to be killed! I was actually wishing that Emma would die and that Brooke would become the new final-girl because she has something very Neve Campbell about her and seems to be able to fight back, unlike Emma who makes the show unwatchable because of her wet-lettuce personality. Also think about Urban Legend, the killer seemed stronger than you'd ever have thought Brenda was :laugh:

I don't have high hopes lol but IA with this season being great. I've loved it and think it's been way better than the first season.

I was a bit sceptical at first with the increasing of episodes for the second season as well as the thought of them dragging the storyline past its natural shelf life but they've done a good job with the whole accomplice thing and it's been really gripping.

It's got to be an original and a new character. Having two new characters be the killers is too predictable and it doesn't make sense for two originals to be the killers either.

Kieran would be an obvious choice since he has been conspicuously absent a lot this season and he was even dressed up as the killer when he was 'kidnapped' but I just don't see it. It's a bit of a cliche to have it be the boyfriend. Audrey and Noah don't make a whole lot of sense either. It would be a copout for it to be Emma although I'd love it if she meant she's gonna be killed off and it won't be her mother either.

Brooke is the only realistic original suspect who hasn't done anything overly suspicious which means she's the most likely to be one of the killers.

When it comes to the new characters it's too obvious to be Eli or the Sheriff and it would be an anti-climax for it to be the aunt. They've been vindicating Gustavo so that makes it more likely to be him. Gustavo is probably the original accomplice and I think Brooke joined in with the killing after they got together. I'm guessing Gustavo will be revealed as a killer in the next episode and Brooke will kill him so he doesn't give her up and the last episode (there's 13 episodes right?) will be about them trying to figure out who killed Gustavo.
