... and the pathetic Sun supported Tony Blair right up to him standing down in 2007, everything he did even incuding the Iraq invasion too.

The hypocrisy of the Sun would have been too,to have probably supported him again had he stayed as Prime Minister until the 2010 election.

To have such a paper as the Sun held up as any example to anyone or anything is an affront to common decency.

worst government uk has ever had

scum of the universe, war criminals.....revolting people. a disgrace to labour movement, to socialism and to the people of this country too. To think war criminal blair thinks he can waltz in and actually influence people to vote labour lol ....hed have a better chance of influencing voters to vote labour , by telling every one to vote tory....people utterly despise the vile reptile ....I dread to think how much its costing the tax payers to protect his revolting ass for the rest of his disgracefuil life. of course he cant afford to pay for his own security staff now can he? meanwhile by the time their corrupt regime was over and wed killed 100s of thousands of innocent people and created even more terrorists and eroded civil liberties and passed 1000s of petty laws and endless cover ups and mass abuse in the nhs and care services.....they did nothing for the industries either and we found the economy bankrupt and the gap between rich and poor the biggest for 200 years

so foreign policy worst ever, security worst ever, economy worst ever, public services worst cover ups ever, poorest worse off than for 200 years

so what the hell was the point? other than to line their own pockets?

Yes but we now know the truth

this paper got it Bang On Right.

Maybe we'll have a headline soon about Thatcher dragging kids to war in the Falklands over a 'principle' in the sun? Or the bombing of Libya in 2011 that destabilised the area and led to the crisis happening now too?

Ed Milliband is NOT Blair or Brown.

I thought both Blair and brown were bad PMs actually, although I welcomed the more compassionate policies for the pensioners and sick and disabled from both PMs.
As to Pension credit, increasing heavily the cold weather payments and winter fuel allowances.

This lot probably couldn't care how many people perished of the cold in winter now, since they have done really nothing as to increasing the aid or extending it.

I am being honest, I can't understand why this headline from 2010 makes it to serious debates tbh... I could find 1001 worse ones for the tories over the years.

Find the Sun from 2001 Kizzy, I won't because I would never look for the SUN publication anywhere.
It termed William Hague and the Conservatives the 'dead parrot' party.
So wrapped up in Tony Blair was the Sun at that time.

Its Ed Miliband these days, Wonder how he will do?

the truth
21-04-2015, 05:52 PM
miliband is a part of new labour this is why he will fail..the country is crying out for a legitimate conviction politician to lead the left...alas they never had the guts to go with wedgewood benn , there is no one since john smith or Kinnock. they learned all the wrong lessons from the Kinnock defeats....they really didn't need to change totally to suit that turncoat opportunist tonly bliar....Kinnock missed out 1) because middle England was rich under thatcher 2) the racist taboids had a field day because he was sooo very welsh , they also made him out to be a raving lunatic communist who was in with the Russians?3) he was a bit ott at times and 4) believe it or not his appearance became a real issue...pathetic. Kinnock was a good man....johnsmith was the consumate politician....alex almond is slick but hes a poor mans john smith

i think labor lost there way with brown and i did not have faith in ed but the more and more i listen to him my confidence is growing and i loved it when he said ofcourse i will pay a mansion tax - now that is decent and he has my respect.

even though he is the better of the miliband brothers, david is a war moner imo...ed miliband is still pathetic...hes totally blown the argument over vat by asking Cameron not to raise it when he should have to lower it...hes a blairite and has failed to acknowledge and rectify the catastrophe of new labour, he wont actually say whether hes willing to form a coalition with snp...his answer a pitiful I don't do hypotheticals...really ed really? your entire political career at this stage is hypothetical..if I get in I may do this or that......get a grip....hes a total fake

IMO Brown was a disastrous PM.

Blair however, and I know admitting this in public is akin to being a devil worshipper...but I liked him. The only (big) problem was the illegal war..however I do feel whoever was in power at the time would have licked americas arse and done the same thing. Its what we do

Luckily both are gone now, and its Millibands turn. While personally I would rather it was David than Ed...I would honestly give my vote to Barney the dinosaur if that had a choice of getting rid of the tories, and in particular IDS.

blair had the midas touch for 3 or 4 years...then we realised he was a snake, even bfore Iraq illegal invasion....he failed to raise any taxes on the rich, let the corporates off billions, passed 3000 new mostly idiotic intrusive laws that ivaded and stole our civil liberties/...invented spin and employed liars galore, had Alistair Campbell running the cabinet, who were totally ignored...tried to destroy the trade unions who built labour to start with....did nog for unions, nothing for industries built no social housing....oversaw the moral collapse of the nhs, the family unit too, ....dealt in weapons with the Saudis and many other dodgy people....oversaw the deregulation of the banks and the housing / banking collapse...wasted a billion on the millennium dome? did nothing for small businesses...did nothing about business rates in town centres...oversaw endless punsihments for drivers, speed cameras speed bumps increased points and fines...endless cover ups including the cash for questions , the bribes to cops and journalists....sold out out to Europe, gave back thatchers multi billion rebate for absolutely nothing, just to be popular in europe, doubled/trebled student tuition fees, created a society that ended up with the biggest gap between rich and poor for 200 years........oh and started an illegal war based on complete and utter lies that caused the deaths of possibly a million people

other than all that, yea great leader
