There are so many things incorrect with this. Lol.

It was not a tweet to a friend, you can't prove that. But judging by the profile picture alone, it's very safe to presume Marc is not buddies with somebody at least 10 years younger than him, probably closer to 15.
I don't particularly think gender makes a difference, but I won't argue with that point.
It was definitely meant to be nasty. The word banter would not stand up in a court of law and it definitely does not bode well with me.
Twitter is a public domain. I don't have to follow him to see the tweet and make a judgement about how nasty it is, similarly I don't have to follow Obama to appreciate the greatness behind his lgbtqia tweet. That's not how Twitter works.

It was not a tweet to a friend, you can't prove that. But judging by the profile picture alone, it's very safe to presume Marc is not buddies with somebody at least 10 years younger than him, probably closer to 15.
I don't particularly think gender makes a difference, but I won't argue with that point.
It was definitely meant to be nasty. The word banter would not stand up in a court of law and it definitely does not bode well with me.
Twitter is a public domain. I don't have to follow him to see the tweet and make a judgement about how nasty it is, similarly I don't have to follow Obama to appreciate the greatness behind his lgbtqia tweet. That's not how Twitter works.

Yes it seems like a vile and nasty tweet.
However,If that was sent as a threat to someone i think Marc could get into serious trouble with the law for that and i don't personally think he would be stupid enough to literally threaten rape on Twitter.
I'd say on balance the likely hood it was sent to a friend who knows his sense of humour and they possibly speak like that to each other regularly is the more probable scenario here.
However,If it turns out to be proven to be a genuine threat then it is seriously ****ed up.

He physically typed out the words and chose to press send. It is inexcusable in every context, if you're saying the guy on the other side could have been just as terrible then fair. But you're not saying that, you're saying Marc may be forgiven giving a very specific context and that is not okay. ..yep, in terms of BB and housemates I think it should..(and exes in this case who are talking about their time in the house while housemates are still there..)... because I think that we pretty much all know from characters in the house, that their Twitters are not going to be great...but haven't we seen not great from most of them already but people will find things to like in housemates anyway because that's one of the main points of the show... so really what is the point in looking at and looking for stuff with them outside of the house because that's not judging a housemate in a show, it's judging their lives completely and that should never be what it's about...
