I agree I loved Raph I LOVED Rachelle talking about her great grandmother adopting her Jewish grandfather and his brother and then them having the Passover meal was also a lovely thing! I definitely changed my opinion on her in the end and saw more to her than I originally thought she was

It was sooo sweet, yes! She used to talk about being Jewish on the feeds quite a bit too, which is part of the reason I liked her. Her and Kenny used to have long chats out in the garden and I thought their friendship was really sweet. It's just a shame it barely got shown on the show -- which is why most people were confused when Rachelle voted to evict Sabrina over Kenny. :p

I've just started Season 3, it's my first time watching CAN and I wanted to watch it as the vault twist seemed interesting to me. I'm only on ep 3 but I'm gutted Risha left she would've been great and definitely had more to give! Hoping she returns for revenge.

The vault twist is literally 3 minutes long on the episode and is uneventful.

You really should watch Season 2 if you want to witness the greatest season ever :love:

I never would have expected from the beginning that Britnee slayed this season! She was up numerous times as the pawn and stayed, sent vile Greig out the house, win the double eviction HoH and when she was the target won the power to save herself and Godfrey to evict Bruno! Obviously with all of this there was no way she would make it to the end but I think she's playing one of the best games this season.

Overall it's a pretty good season, just not enough drama and too many unanimous votes. The underdogs slaying was perfect :love: ______'s blindside was the best moment of BBCAN for me next to lettergate :love:

I think out of the three seasons I've seen Kat is definitely the most deserving out of the first evictees. Suzette had a good reason to nominate her because she had been backing her in a corner and forcing this all girls alliance down her throat on the first week so I wasn't bothered she got evicted. I did half want Liza to try and get Emmett evicted because even though I like him it would've been a nice shock to see Emmett go over Kat and would've really added that shock element. I despise Tom and everything about him his hatred towards Gary is unnecessary and it's blatantly obvious it's because Gary is gay. Didn't he say also in his VT that gay people annoy him? I really hope he's gone because he may be my least favourite BBCan contestant ever if he continues acting the way he does. The Alec and Topaz cuddlemance is also super cute <3

Danielle :lovedup: I'm really loving her and Gary's iconic friendship and the moment when she was acting out her fantasy confrontation of Jillian. She's a queen and I'm glad Jillian changed her mind about nominating her in the end. I really hope that Aneal doesn't win POV because he's awful and quite frankly deserves to go he's practically dug his own grave in the first place. I really liked the have not competetion this episode with the HG's dipping themselves in a better to fill a waffle tray. I was even more stoked that the underdogs Gary/Danielle/Topaz's group won because Tom/Liza/Alec's team were acting so cocky like they'd practically beat them and they're on slop lol :joker:

On my first watch.. Gary and Peter were at the bottom because both annoyed me and Peter was just arrogant, But i've started to appreciate them more and I actually like them now but I don't love them like I do with Talla,Emmett,Alec,Jillian(HOH BEAST),Topaz and Suzette. This time I only disliked jealous bimbo Danielle,Liza and bully Tom. Talla remains my number 1, she was being herself,she was hilarious and a queen, may not be the best player but her social game was her strength. Emmett was the best player of the season! Him and Jillian dominated. I applaud Gary for taking him out though because he had no chance against him. I still think Jillian deserved the win but Gary also played a good game considering he was a target from the start but Jillian was better imo.

Still an amazing season on a re-watch, Arlie was 14th on my 1st watch but I grew to love the guy so so hilarious.. Also The gremlins have gone up too.. Sabrina won me other this time. Ika went down big time due to me liking other people better and she was nasty towards Heather the most.

Maybe it's because I don't pay attention to pop culture, I love rap music, I don't really care about my appearance/personal style, I'm very low-key, I hate shopping etc. However if I fancy whacking on an episode of Absolutely Fabulous, pouring myself a glass of rosé wine or girating around to Destinys Child and someone says "omg you're sooo gay" I'm not gonna be offended because well... I am gay? And if I see an effeminate gay man on a show such as Big Brother I'm not going to be concerned about how he represents the community because of his flamboyance, he is who he is and I will care more about his personality.

I mean masculinity is essentially just a concept that's drilled in by society's norms and as gay men I feel that we really understand this better than anyone. I wouldn't say Aneal or Mitch are particularly flamboyant but they are themselves without any concerns of masculinity. Plus I don't think Kenny was a good role model for gay people. In fact he was arguably one of the worst: hiding your sexuality from the house is just an awful, awful example. If 13 year old LemonJam was watching Kenny saying "I'm not going to come out in case it's used against me" I would be even more scared to come out. Plus the fact he played with womens emotions that he would never be interested in, called women bitches and that he'd push one of them down the stairs, I don't really see him as good representation.

Now take Gary who was himself and extremely proud and imagine the impact Gary probably had on young gay kids watching the show, (especially if he would have won as Topaz intended. :hehe:) There is a need for the Garys and the Rauls and the Scotts on these kinds of programs so kids like them can feel like they're not alone and that they're represented, because there are a lot of flamboyant gay people out there and we love them all. There is nothing wrong with being flamboyant, hell, I wish I was a bit more flamboyant. There is so much harm in the whole "masc" and "straight acting" concept when people shouldn't care about being "manly" whether you're homosexual or heterosexual. What's more important is that you are yourself.

Yeah, I personally don't agree about Kenny being a good blueprint for future gay contestants on Big Brother. Sure, he wasn't a stereotype but that doesn't automatically make him a positive representation of gay guys. For the most part I found him to be really unpleasant and difficult to like.

And then there was him hiding his sexuality for most of the game because he thought that would benefit him, which I as a gay guy just find really insulting to be honest (and a lot more problematic than a more stereotypical guy being cast).

To each their own of course, but I definitely wouldn't look to Kenny for an archetype that BB should use for casting gay guys in the future.

Really getting into it now, Danielle vs Aneal is really interesting, as Danielle is meant to be the pawn, and is oblivious to the fact that the guys are considering helping Aneal stay.

Suzette is my favourite so far. I mean, no one really stands out in the first five episodes in BBCAN.

Omg I'm loovin' it! There seems to be a much more complex set of alliances going on here... By this stage in BBCAN4 there were really just two sides to the house, and then the floaters. But I feel BBCAN1 so far is a little heavy on the game talk.

I've been saying the same thing. She definitely played up when casting her votes. I liked her because she was nice and perfectly pleasant but her exaggerated comedy in the Diary Room put me off.

You are getting through this really quick but then again it's only a 29 episode season. I adore Talla, I do think she was the best one from her season :lovedup: I don't think she is fake either because I do feel she's like that off camera.

Shouting in the DR isn't actually annoying because one it's not in a nasty way and two it only works if people can pull it off.. the only shouting thats boring and hideous is aggressive ones in an argument like shouting **** off etc.

I didn't watch S3's Side Shows but from the S2 and 4 ones I wouldn't say there was any kind of bias one way or another. His job is to rip people's games apart and he does it to most of the evictees bar a few, like he spared Nikki this year and bowed down to her for being a Big Brother icon and praised Cass' game too. He also drags the vile men which is a-okay with me.

Whats actually interesting about Emmett is that his strategy to start was very much just to be himself, not campaign, which is so different to him at the end.

Aneal campaigns against Gary immediately saying he'll coast to the final 2; everyone ignores him, Gary nearly wins the show. (Aneal the ultimate Meg Griffin of BBCAN lore <3)
