Eric, who locked Val in the mirror maze and left her there overnight, or Chrissie, who ultimately caused the maze to collapse?

Robert and Aaron for having the affair.

I blame the fireman for not checking for hazards, or Val for not pointing it out, ridiculous way to die

Obviously, I mean hypothetically which character is to blame.

The helicopter pilot, silly twat could have crashed into the BIG OPEN FIELD next to the village hall, but noooo, he had to head toward the hut where he knew everyone was.

To me itīs Chrissie as even though Eric and Rodney did close them in the maze, they didnīt know what Chrissie had done.

The helicopter explosion caused the maze to break up, not Eric and Rodney.

But what Eric and Rodney did stupid was go to the pub outside of the village, when they should have stayed in the village. I donīt understand why they did that? It makes no sense. (Or to say it correctly: Why the writers made them do that?)

Lmao I didn't think about that. I suppose we can pretend that the steering was affected though just for the sake of the plot.

Val of course.
Here she is, Gob o' the North and she doesn't tell the fireman that a shard of glass is hanging precariously above her head.
She managed to free her hands enough to have her final fag so why didn't she use them to try and save herself.
As to real blame, well it was simply an accident. Tragic.

This actually.
I thought it a poor end to the storyline that firstly, she didn't mention the glass hanging.

it was a maze of mirrors and the emergency services would have always also checked for any seemingly immediate danger from anywhere.
So secondly, they would have checked to make sure Val wasn't bleeding from anywhere and also quickly assess the situation too.

Diane was closer to the door and in a lot safer post, so she should have gone last, i agree.

And Doug owned up tonight, btw.

It should be Eric owning up, not poor Doug. He's harmless, bless him.
