I once said "if only I was 50 years older" to a guy who was 32.

Nope, I think it was just the first number that came into my head  Worst thing is, I was 20 at the time so only 12 years younger than him.

I do recall one girl who started with me once, well spoken girl from Crieff down in London for the first time and her first big job. We took her out to the pub after 6 and by 8 she had called the MD of Capital radio a cnt :omgno:
and not in a very nice way, if that is possible
And there was me defending the reputation of Scots as not all aggressive drunks for 3 years ruined
boy did she come in sheepish the next day
(he was one btw but he knew that)

it was all to much for her and when she started on the Stella (pints) I had a bad feeling
she ended up spewing in a tube and passing out

I actually thought that your answer to: "Things you wish you hadn't said when you were drunk" would have been; "Agreeing to marry the missus."

Oh so many.
I think the worst was telling an ex of mine that of course I would meet him in a certain pub and yes I would consider marrying him.
Silly beggar, I told him I would meet him in my mothers local..she had to put up with all his whining etc and I got a right earful from her:laugh::laugh:

It's mind boggling how we think alike. I was just about to say I wouldn't have said yes when my second husband asked me to marry him.
