I miss BB12 vibes

Big Brother nowadays is so contrived and manipulated compared to bb12, I remember it being so light hearted and fun. Of course there was arguments but they were actually interesting to watch rather than over acted and deliberately like they seem nowadays.

Every series since the move to C5 in 2011 has been contrived and manipulated (even the good series), the only difference is BB12 was ****ing trash whereas series like BB13 and BB14 pulled it of well and were actually decent series.

You really can't compare bb12 with bb16 for example in terms of manipulation and constant twists. I really enjoyed it while it was on and it's refreshing looking back.

All series of big brother have been manipulated even the early ones of c4, but compare bb12 to bb14, 15 or 16 and you'll know what I mean.

Whilst I agree with this in the sense that production-wise back in 2011/2012 was far better in comparison to the production in 2014/2015 - overall the C5 series have been far more manipulated and contrived as say the later C4 series -which I don't think were that contrived at all bar BB11 as that's when things began to get gaudy.

The only C5 civilian series I'd remember fondly is BB13.

I'd take 12 over 15 and 16 easily though. I didn't hate 12, it was just quite meh (at least it had consistent nominations). Those last two outright angered me

yeah this pretty much sums it up for me. BB12 is dull and boring af but I'd much rather have the cotton candy TOWIE type of presentation we had in 12 and 13 than the dark and overly contrived twisted type of presentation we had in 15 and 16 (and 14 too, even if that was a good series.)
