True, but think Carol would have gone whoever she was up against, she was getting to the point that she was just almost walking the dances, probably just relying on Pasha's popularity to get her through.

If the lovely Jeremy survives next weeks dance off, I think the following week at Blackpool could then be his dancing swansong as Blackpool is when the serious dancers tend to push the less capable dancers into the dance off.

then Tristan goes and choreographs an average Viennese waltz ( he's not the best partner she's got :rolleyes: )
then they bump into the silly guitar on the floor which of course the judges noticed

But despite all that she's a good dancer and she's not getting the recognition . But it's worked in her favour if she's been saved by the public and i happily voted for her 30 something times and although she was undermarked with just 7's it could of been worse , i expected them to mark her lower knowing how mean the judges can be

Pretty much agree with what you said Vanessa, Anita and Jay are the only ones I enjoy watching. Young girl from Corrie is boring to me though, same with Helen. Jay is the best of the bunch this year for sure,I watch this with the dancing instructor who taught me to sort of do 'proper' dancing, she states Jay is the most improved and by far the one who delivers the best week on week.

I think Jay is incredible. He has such attention to detail it's hard to believe he's not a pro. And he has so much chemistry with Aliona. So much so that they look like a couple, even though they're just friends.

I never said that it was Jamelia's fault that she's been in the bottom two 3 times, I just think that it's suppose to be a competition first and foremost and if someone goes in there for their 4th time and the other person has only been in there for their 1st time then the person that's hit for their 4th time should go home as it would be more entertaining for the other person to come back and rebound possibly.

However Jamelia hasn't been in there for her 4th time yet so good luck to her.

It's a popularity entertainment show based on dancing, where majority of the time the most popular Celeb wins and not necessarily the best dancer.

If it was a dance competition as you claim it is, then all the dancers would be on the same playing field and not a mixture of abilities there is now. Also there would be no public voting & the dancers would be scored by Professional Judges from the Ballroom/Latin world.

Even The BBC have said it has always been an Entertainment Show based on the show Come Dancing.

well that's where the so called Professional Dancers comes in, they are paid to teach the Celebs to Dance.

Jeremy might with luck reach the final, I love the guy :) but I can't see him winning, however, can you imagine forums and such if he did :laugh2: they would be going haywire :D Jeremy is by far my favourite Celeb on this years show without a doubt, with a fitting pro partnership. My favourite for the win though would be Helen or Georgia, but Jeremy in the final would be the icing on the cake :D And Jeremy maynot be the perfect dancer but he 'can' dance just not to the standard of some of the others and he is great entertainment on top of that, I don't watch through my finger as I did with some past contestants so Jeremy is doing something right :)

It's never about who's the best dancer even though it should be and yes sometimes it is and it's sometimes about who's improved but
the john sergeant's and judy murrays of SCD history get voted for all the time

And people always vote for who they either feel sorry for or who they fancy or find funny to watch . So people like Anita & Peter get forgotten about even though they've been consistently good and they even get slagged off :rolleyes:
