On a very low night performance and vocal wise tonight Che made a complete and utter MESS of 'yesterday'. NONE OF THE MELODY was even close to the original. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL

I wouldn't say murdered. I'd say smothered with a cold and dead precision.

I've just listened to it - I thought it sounded okay.
He was singing 'all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order'.

I hate The Beatles version and Che's version, and Rebecca's version in series 7.
How about nobody do it again?

Yep - He strangled a beautiful classic. A few things I don't get - one, is the modern trend to change classic songs until they are unrecognisable - why not just write a totally new song? - and two, is anybody who does not recognise that The Beatles are and always will be THE greatest band who ever lived.

He has a good voice but I agree. I have't seen or heard anything from him either at audition stage, boot camp, judges houses or in any live weeks so far, that made me think that was even just really good.
