I think a UK RTV act should have been used as an example because USA talent shows have a better chance at being successful because their market is massive compared to ours. Cher Lloyd was in the bottom 2 twice however she only sold loads because USA but she flopped in the end because her 2nd album got no promo.

There were how many series of Pop Idol in the US and they only produced about 6 serious sellers such and only 2 were winners (Carrie and Kelly)

Simon would be a fool not to sign them but Louisa will be signed even if she finished 4th. Both are marketable and Simon can get loads of money from them,especially 4th Impact. they get like 1 million views each performance
