Corrie was just so awful this last week

The Connors, I couldn't give a proverbial sh** about them.

Not interested in that creepy guy in jail either who contacted Tracy.

Ken Barlow's love life is a real drag too. What the hell is Audrey going on about saying she has 'missed out' on a relationship with Ken. She's known him for 40 years.

Then we have Sally trying to push two reluctant lezzas together. So dreary.

Liz and all the old bags looking for love is boring too. :sleep:

The acting has been appalling lately and the storylines should have all been binned - together with the dire scripts.

There were several points where I thoughts about dumping Corrie.

I can fast forward the episodes and largely do, but it's still so painful to sit through.:sleep::sleep::sleep:

I've been watching Corrie since I was a kid. That's about 25 years. And in that time I have taken several breaks from the show. One break lasted about two years.

I got back into it last year and all seemed well, but it's really bad again.

I think the Connor family are the main reason why the soap is going downhill. What is this obsession with the Connor family???? They're so fecking boring. And OMG, that guy off X Factor, who plays Aiden, CANNOT ACT. He is TERRIBLE.

I can't understand why more different characters are brought in. It's the same faces for decades.

I have to agree with allot of the points above. ie these new ladys that have latched onto big ken and the conors except rob - he is brill.

its still more watchable then EE but is way below emmerdale. sadly corri has gone down in my eyes as well.

I have tried to get into Emmerdale, but can't. The acting and characters don't seem to be good enough. EE is only good at Christmas and New Year because someone will either die or get beat up, or something else horrible happen. :D Crazy to show that at Christmas. :p

I don't know why me and my mum bother watching Corrie all the time because half of the time watching is complaining. I may be in the minority but I really liked the Callum storyline, since he was killed in the live episode the quality has gone down hill none of the storylines interest me.

The new Connors are also diabolical as you said Gusto. All three of them are dislikeable in every way shape and form.

EE is picking my interest up atm because I think it's been pretty **** this year apart from one or two moments like Shabnams still born which was written beautifully. I blame their fixation with Bobby killing Lucy for me hating it this year because I just despise that storyline as a whole. However, now it's getting to Christmas I think all of the current storylines are interesting me.

HO has been dire this year too . Emmerdale has been the best soap this year by some considerate mile.

The Christmas Day episode was atrocious. Badly acted, TERRIBLE script, and plots.

Like my late mum used to say, it was CORNY.

Looked like it was made in the 1970s. Absolutely terrible.

And what the flick has happened to Kevin??? He's aged about 30 years in the last two.

Kevin looks like he has been sleeping rough for 10 years. He's only 51. He looks about 68.

Corrie could be really great, the Rita and Norris tit for tat is often hilarious, If I was writing for Corrie somehow some changes I would like to see are David and Kylie running the Rovers,I think they could become the best double act on TV.

I'd get rid of the Ken Barlow stalker and actually pair him up with Audrey.
The factory needs new owners,Perhaps new characters needed there.

I would tolerate Carla marrying Nick but getting more into his Bistro to push Gail and Leannes noses more out of joint.

I agree the rest of the Connors are pulling this down and the storylines frankly are now just too ridiculous around them too.
Definitely get rid and the quicker the better.

Mary as the sort of lovable clown of Corrie,I would possibly use more too as to better storylines,no way in the daft one she has at present..
