Unfortunately UKIPs support is divided around the country in different areas.Farage is a great leader,Probably the best possible leader.If Farage was Labour leader they would win easily.Carswell could not drum up the support that Farage has due to a lack of personality.The big two will always dominate politics(when Corbyn fecks off obviously).There are certain areas which will always be Labour and always Conservative.My UKIP vote for instance was wasted as i live in a very strong Labour area which will never change.

I think carswell wants to be the leader, but farage has far to much loyalty with his supporters, one question, is that did farage purge the party, of enough establishment plants, who cause trouble, carswell is killing his own career, by trying to start up another plot to overthrow farage, if he cares so much for the party, he would not do that, if he forces him out, that will give the pro eu parties, the joy of having no party to counter them, in the yes or no vote.
