Not the televotes. They're compiled all together. So effectively a country could get 0 jury votes but win the televote with like 320 points and that'd shoot them up into top 5.

It happened in 2011 in Düsseldorf when the Televoting voted for Azerbaijan and the jury voted for Italy. People, please get over it. I think it's between Russia and Australia for the win, maybe it's just all the hype around Australia or wishful thinking but I truly believe Dami will win. The UK draw is pretty good too although we'll be overshadowed by Armenia

I honestly don't think placements have too much of an effect on the outcome. People have won in all sorts of positions. I was a little gutted we were second to last because I do agree that by the end people already have their favourites and tend not to care, but Dima Bilan won performing second to last in 2008 (not implying the UK will win bye, I don't think we will).

The song and performance is fundamentally what influences the result.

The only issue in this day of age in Eurovision is that if your one of the first to perform then your practically ****ed, but that's because there are so many acts to get through.
