I think I'm already preferring this group of housemates to that of Big Brother 5, there's nobody in the house that I dislike thus far so don't take my ranking too literally as they're all pretty much equal, and the launch night twists are intriguing.

This has been a really good week to be honest, some drama that I found pretty interesting and that's thanks to Rachael. Michelle saying "what are you doing here, go away" was hilarious. I'm also here for Dean and Rachale feud but I'm pretty sure Rachael is going next week. Hotdogs is only in green for a silly reason because he sang his own version of santa Claus is coming to town which made my day :shame: but he;s actually really likeable. Glenn is a knob for giving the cleaning jobs to only girls :idc:

Watching BBAU 10 properly for the first time (only wiki-watched it when it aired but I barely remember anything from it) and I'm really enjoying it! I remember who the top 3 are and where they finish but other than that I don't remember much so I'm enjoying it as a fresh watch tbh!

I think I generally find BBAUS much less entertaining than BBUK/BBUS etc due to it being a more family friendly kind of show and happy/upbeat/humorous etc whereas other BBs are more dramatic and feel more raw.

I will probably give BBAU4 a go at some point tho as I am quite intrigued by it

I feel like I shouldn't like Kate but I really really do. She's full of qualities that I'd really dislike in someone else (like, you know, saying she wants to punch someone in the face, being a staunch advocate of bitching over face to face confrontation etc) ... but she's against Emma so of course I'm on her side. And she cracks me up on a regular basis, I make no apologies for this. :pipe:

Emma is such a playground bitch, getting her little group together to go against "the geeks" (:umm2:). Aleisha's fine when she's not with her but lets herself down when she is so I've little time for her too.

Bodie is just awful in every single way. At least Emma can be entertaining with her terribleness, Bodie has no redeeming value as a housemate whatsoever. I feel like he was put in to fill the "pretty boy" quota and he isn't even much to write home about in that regard.

She's just extremely catty, like it oozes out of her with every word and facial expression. She clearly sees her group as the "cool" gang because she casually refers to the others as "the geeks" which I just find pretty sad for an adult woman too and she takes a disliking to certain housemates purely because they're awkward and different and friendly (which she interprets as false friendly when it's really not). I don't deny she provides entertainment as she's central to the house dynamics and tensions between particular groups but I just find her way too unlikeable as a person to be able to support :laugh:

If it was airing now and being followed by this forum I've no doubt she'd be popular on here though :joker:

And yeah, the FNL episodes are great, very funny. They are long but I always really enjoy them. Much better than the Showdown segments on BB10 (which I liked but they were just a smaller scale version and not half as fun).

I agree. Not too sure about the format either; it was great when there were more housemates, but now we're down to 10, one housemate could put four points on one person and that person is pretty much guaranteed to be up. It just makes the public vote seem a little less exciting when half the people up were also up the week before.

Yeah I've noticed in BB10 some housemates have quite strong hatreds for others (Tahan/K&L for example) but the full nature of these relationships have never really been shown in full which makes the season quite hard to follow at times. You can tell so much stuff has been cut which just disrupts the flow.

So an entire eviction interview with Tully, and not once did the topic of her cheating on her girlfriend come up. At all. Instead, both production and the public romanticized her relationship with Drew and completely ignored the fact that her girlfriend on the outside actually exists.

I think what annoys me most about Emma, more so than the fact that she's really not very nice, is how she prides herself on being so real and how she apparently doesn't sit around bitching like the people she doesn't like do ... yet she consistently sits around bitching and goes silent when the subject of it comes anywhere near (save for maybe a passive aggressive comment with her cronies that the person won't even know is a dig at them).

At least Kate was very self aware about the fact she liked to bitch and didn't hide behind a bull**** houlier-than-thou persona.
