It still gets more viewers than a lot of other shows.

I think they get a bit strict with viewing figures tbh.
Think of shows in America and their viewing figures compared to here and the population sizes

If TXF actually promoted good and interesting singers with actual genres (even if not to my own personal taste) instead of either TOWIE contestants, LEG (Loudness Equals Greatness) acts, or DBCS (Dance But Can't Sing) acts all of the time they might actually still have ratings left on the programme.

Oh and stop using the VT's as a way for people to like or dislike an acts performance, it should be imo an act performs, then we have the presenter asking the judges questions on how they reckon the next act coming up will do with their song choice and go from there, but they won't do that as they like demonizing interesting acts all of the time.
