The scaffolding has been there since 2011. The current C5 set is practically a building site with a few tacky LED lights.

If anything it was more visible in 2011 as you could practically see it holding the TV screen in place at the facade of the house.

Most of it located behind the stands to hold them together.

They were building something when i was at the summer CBB launch I made a post about it being a new set for this series but clearly it was for the summer

They're still waiting for approval from the council for the plans so no. That'll be for a separate studio that Elstree Studios are building where the mound used to be.

I made a comment actually on Twitter. The poles and things right behind the audience stands were within the new boundaries for Big Brother's set so they could potentially be the start of the new studio for Big Brother.

The bottom left part in the Vaudeville screenshot looks like it's already been there for a while (you can just about see the corner of it in the UK vs USA screenshot), but the taller part at the back in the Vaudeville screenshot looks quite new - perhaps that is part of the new house. We'll just have to wait and see in the summer.
