I was thinking of what they could base Big Brother around and I felt a Big Brother: You Decide theme would be a good idea.

The premise is that the night before, the Big Brother bosses whittle the housemates down to a shortlist of 50.

Each of the 50 housemates produce a 90 second clip of why they should go in the house. We then vote which 12 go on in the house.

On the night, we then decide what their prize fund is for the series.

The Saturday night tasks return and the housemates can earn either more money for the weekly shopping budget or top up their prize money.

I don't trust the public less so than the awful producers [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

The public would just vote for 12 boring generic good looking men so no I don't want to see this. :worry: It would be good if the public had decent opinions tho.

I guess if they had to choose from the cookie-cutter brigade - WHICH camp gay guy, WHICH barbie doll, WHICH Essex lad etc ...

Though I'd rather just see them all on Launch Night

The public cannot be trusted to make important decisions.

It's a nice idea though I think you'd need to split them into categories to get a decent mix.

I'm surprised though the BB11 launch twist of the HMs only finding out on launch night they're going in the house hasn't been repeated.
