NICK Grimshaw and Caroline Flack are leaving The X Factor after just a year in a shake-up by axeman boss Simon Cowell.

Radio 1 presenter Grimmy’s exit comes after a difficult debut year as a judge on the hit ITV talent show, where he faced private criticism from Cowell behind the scenes about his lacklustre performances contributing to a ratings slump.

He made the decision to walk at Christmas after weeks of rumours he would be replaced by One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson.

I think she will be pushed as this year is make or break and I can see a whole new panel

I can see Rita Leaving aswell as she will probably want to return to the voice again when it comes to ITV. Olly has to be sacked. If they still want two presenters they could promote Rochelle and Melvin or If Marvin isn't wanted for the voice on ITV X factor could do a husband and wife presenting. Judging wise Simon will stay so will Cheryl I would assume with Louis From 1D and Probably someone like Jess Glynne will probably be the fourth judge.

Feel sorry for Caroline but this is very strange if Olly isn't axed too? Had it not been for Dermot's comments and Simon's response a few weeks ago I'd have been inclined to say they'd bring him back too but alas maybe that's too much to hope for :( personally I think they should pass him the cheque book

They both made mistakes, cause imo, it´s just not the right kind of hosting job for them.
It´s live, meaning there is no room for mistakes, which brings enormous amount of stress and anxiety which these two aren´t clearly good at handling, when dealing with a job where one of them does not know anything about hosting (Olly) and the other one is a host that is better suited for previously recorded shows (Caroline), not live television.

Yeah if Sia was to do one if these Talent shows I think she should do the voice USA I think she's been a mentor on there before helping contestants. I wouldn't mind Sia coming on the show to mentor the acts for the week.

Cheryl would never be on the same panel as Nicole they hate each other. Yeah I think this will be both Simons and Cheryl final year on the show.

The next series I would go back to the old format of 6 weeks of Saturday only audition shows, Then have the Country house bootcamp but at the end of that the final 24 are decided then so that would be dropping SCC. Judges houses I would keep the same. Live shows needs to go back to 10 I want a good mix of new themes and old ones. A mentor each week for example we have pop divas theme they could try and get one of the pop divas to come mentor the acts.
