It doesn't make them unavailable to cast votes though. If the others were smart they would keep them because one vote could change anything and they're literally wildcards. The house isn't much of a unit to worry about them.

One vote can change anything yes but by publically announcing you'll be splitting your votes for the duration so as to cancel them out you are setting a precedent that may become difficult to undo in this format. If people can't approach you for votes because you're just going to split them anyway then they can't count on you to help them get someone out, and worse, if you're the reason a target isn't sent home that puts an even bigger target on yourself

Two immediate things I gathered from watching some feeds again:

1) Tim is seriously smart. He's doing this exact thing (maybe in a few different ways) with every little group or individual person in the house... after first finding out these house dynamics just from observing and simply asking people. :joker:

2) Did everyone miss the Loveita/Christine talk? It was really short but basically Christine barely even gave Loveita a chance to explain her plan for using the POV.

Very interesting story from Tim there - he had been doing some radio work before moving down to Sydney and applying for the first Channel 9 series (BBAU 2012). He then said that he had to drive around 10 miles to the nearest airport so that the production team could fly him out the Gold Coast (where the BB house is based). He said that he went through the photoshoots and interviews before being turned down as a housemate that year.

He also said that after that he moved on to his next radio show that made him redundant then the feeds cut off (but I assume that he went on to say that he then re-applied). Interesting that he originally applied for the series before - it could have been very different.

No, I think they called Tim to the DR but asked him to put some makeup on for consistency reasons and then in the bathroom he was explaining how when you're on Big Brother you're not supposed to be aware that you're making a TV show

I agree, it's really not fair on fans who got excited about this if she does end up quitting or giving up.
