If you compare the houseguests who've been around in the last few weeks like Nikki, Cass, Tim, Joel, Maddy, Jared, Kelsey, brothers (yes even those last three), all of them have brought something to the season and made their individual mark on the show - for good or bad - while at the same point last season we had total duds like Pilar, Ashleigh, Zach and Willow still around :umm2:

There's been so much drama, so many power shifts, amazing nights of feeds, actual Nikki ****ing Grahame, one of the best twists ever internationally (the wildcards) - whereas last year it was all one big dreary love fest which had a few gems succeeding in the middle :shrug:

Yeah, I'm not gonna lie and say that I watched the first three seasons properly so I can judge them accordingly, but this season has constantly provided entertainment. Like, there were only a few dud weeks where I wasn't that interested in the feeds. At first I thought it was the novelty of watching feeds properly for the first time, but I figured that I would have completely avoided them by now if I wasn't that interest :p

I mean I'd never give something up once I'd started but there have been so many incredible episodes this season, like consecutive and consistently entertaining ones - last year there were so many :shrug: eps I just didn't care for and I was often about five or six episodes behind at a time which says it all really, the fact I've kept up to date this time around is testament to how gripping this season has been!

Just saw a convo they had in the pantry a little while ago and they mentioned they would win against anyone that's left. (I think they'd beat a couple of them at least; to be fair they have been good players this season, they just get really messy with their game at times & maybe made a few bad decisions to go along with a bunch of good ones)

Also, Cass having a bit of a meltdown in the hot tub area a little before that because Nick was being 'mean' to her saying she can't be trusted and things like that. Unfortunately there's a very good chance of that though, it's usually a what happened on what day comp and the HoH she's just won was the same. She's studied far more than anyone else and it's paid off

This format always lends itself to scrambling and intenseness when there's so few people left cause it's all to play for, but I certainly don't remember an endgame as pivotal as this for a long time. That's why I still love this season, as much as it sucks when things don't always go your way - it at least keeps you hooked and rooting and hoping for your favourites to win out
