Probably an unpopular opinion. Don't get me wrong, Alison King is a great actress, and Carla Connor used to be a great character, but the writers have used her for every storyline under the sun in such a short space of time, they pretty much ruined the character. I hope she does return one day though, when the writers are less lazy.

Yeah, she's better off out of it.
The writing has butchered her character the last year or so.

Yeah i agree also, I hate her with Nick as well
There's literally nothing left for her character to do now except become landlady of the Rovers which is something I think would really suit her.
She's been raped, had a miscarriage, been in several car crashes, fires, explosions, been kidnapped, had affairs, is an alcoholic and a gambling addict as well as losing multiple friends and partners in typical soap fashion. The poor woman should be in thearpy :joker:
And Stuart Blackburn has pretty much run the character into the ground.

Not to mention all the murder storylines she's been involved in. :joker:
Her relationship with Roy though :flutter:

I love Carla - I will miss her and like you say - her relationship with roy will be missed by me.

That made me think, hasn't the actor who plays Roy taken a break from the show to do a play? Will he even be around for Carla's exit?
