Yeah it is a complete mess and makes the show look so much tackier than it already is. There's only a handful of decent fan sites out there

Dr Detroit sort of had a point with the Twitter fansites tbh :shocked:. Don't get me wrong, the larger ones like bbspy, Blagger, 24/7, TellyMix etc are very reliable and usually correct with the information that they get, but the smaller Twitter ones are just tarnishing the reputation of the more reliable sites atm.

I mean, most of them do just post links and images from other sources, but the petty squabbles, fake accounts popping up and posting fake eyes/information is just annoying and pointless. I've also seen a few of them start arguments with people for disagreeing with their opinion :worry:. It just ruins the buildup for everyone and puts a downer on things when their baseless information turns out to be untrue.

So yeah, if I do spot something on Twitter I'll try and verify it before bumping this thread again.

The only BB related things there are nowadays is this forum and DS. There are hardly any reliable fansites. I mean, there is BBspy and Tellymix but meh. Even BBspy who had a specific ratings page and around 40-50 articles a day now barely posts 4 articles a day and were terrible at updating their ratings page. They only did it on Mondays when the previous week ended and when BARB updated. And BB 25/7 looks like a scene out of the Walking Dead. Just a bunch of corpses.

I miss the likes of BB Online and Inside BB.

Bit rude :rolleyes: I'm not being funny but I'm proud of BB24/7 and what it looks like, how it runs and the articles I write. Considering I do it single handed I think it's a bit harsh to call out like that. At least bbspy, Blagger and I attempt to get the correct stuff out there instead of stupid rumours and speculation the forum constantly goes on about, let alone these Twitter pages who don't know what they're talking about half the time. So thanks for that non-constructive feedback on my website appearance - keep checking back for the latest news.

Sorry, didn't know you were writing for them, but just my opinion. I don't listen look at Twitter ones because they are awful.

i wasn't trying to put the content down, I was putting down the lack of content. When there are articles, it's actually pretty decent, but just like BBspy, there is not much movement.

I mainly go on Tellymix, but that's turned quite bad too. The only thing they have there are "who's your fave?" articles and the odd spoilers from the HL show.

I'm talking about pre C5 era when all these sites used to upload content every 10-15 mins or so, but then again, we had LF.

I guess the sites are doing as much as they can with the lack of news info.

It was certainly not an exaggeration.

There was a site, can't remember what it was called in the BB6-BB8 era where there used to be the HMs faces next to articles (if the article was about them) and they used to be up to 100 news items every day. However Saturdays back then were very slow with only 30-40.
