It looks great! But as a few others have said, I'm not initially slain. Maybe it's because it's so simplistic compared to the previous eyes which were very busy idk. I would have loved if they'd have gone full yin yang theme with those colors. But it's basically just the C5 template one side white, one side black. :shrug: Maybe it will grow on me!

I prefer simpler designs so this is my favourite Channel 5 eye so far, but I still don't like it. The divide in the eye seems to further indicate we will probably be getting a Celebrity Vs. Civilian series, which I'm not happy about either.

I feel as if this logo especially feels like it works better in tje current eye rather than the Eatock eye. I think that's an important factor as to why it looks so good.

I don't know if it's been discussed because I haven't read the whole thread, but does anyone have any ideas on if it has clues as to the theme of the series? It looks to me like it's meant to represent yin and yang (which could be the celebrity/non celebrity thing that's rumoured) and smashing into pieces is the two of them coming together after starting off in seperate houses/parts of the house... and y'know, causing house rocking drama... or something

I need to calm myself down and not get my hopes up cause there's literally no chance the BBUK producers are actually daring enough to take on the US format.

I guarantee it will be two houses either competing against each other or existing without knowing about the other (a twist that's been talked about for years and years). Both the house extension and new logo point to some kind of a division.

Rylan confirmed that there is definitely a Celebrity Big Brother airing this summer, right after BBUK like normal. It's in the contract anyway.
So if there are 'celebrities' put in BBUK, there will still ALSO be a CBB straight after.

Tbh the house rarely matches the eye.

Oh yeah! Good spot. Although I don't think it'll mean reverting to back to basics. With the smashing of the eye, maybe they're saying that the old ('old' being represented by the chair) is being smashed into pieces... they do keep saying it's a 'brand new game'.
Or maybe the chair being white (and half the eye being white) means the new show will be a mix of old-style BBUK, and an alternative format. There's definitely a reason it's been placed there anyway :think:
