Thoughts on "the others" twist?

I'm very 'meh' with it tbh. All that hype of "the game changing" and "evolving the show for a new generation" for that twist. Don't get me wrong, it sounds interesting, but there's a couple of things that are confusing me about it:

A) How is it going to be secret when the second house will be staring the main housemates in the face on launch night?

B) How is this meant to evolve the show? This isn't the sort of twist that can be repeated over and over.

You know what 'The Others' sounds like to me, but isn't probably what they mean? Ghosts, dead people (evicted). Evicted Housemates go to the 'Graveyard' which is the second house.

I really hope it isn't that though. That'd remove the entire point of evicting.

This sounds fun in theory, but I have a worry it's going to be like the 'In and Out' twist and we'll end up losing good housemates to not so good ones. I won't judge it until it plays out though. The idea of two houses competing against eachother in like a Turf War sounds really exciting.

You know what's dumb af though, and I hate to beat a dead horse. But this twist not having Live Feed is really really stupid. It's going to be hard to keep up with both houses through the Highlights, even if the twist turns out to be really good, this just hinders it a lot. We won't be able to see as much as we should from both houses.

The thing it has over both of those though is this will actually feel like a legit house, and on par with the Main House. The halfway house was just something that was just sort of there. It is in the same twist in concept, but I think the execution will hopefully be a lot better to watch, and much more exciting. That's if they nail it.

Channel 5 have revealed there will be two houses for the news series of Big Brother, starting 7th June 2016.

The housemates living in the main house will have no knowledge of the other house, and other housemates who will attempt to steal places in the main Big Brother House.

The lack of live feed recently hasn't really bothered me but like Germyle said this sounds like it'd be perfect for it

Dunno what to make of it though. Sounds like there are a lot of things they could do to make it bad, especially focusing on 1 house a night. And the possibility of 9 weeks of them just plotting and BB forcing on drama and twists every day doesn't excite me

I'd say I'm more intrigued than anything else.

I'm excited by the sound of the others 'conspiring' though and battling for a place in the main house, but it depends on what that entails. Strategy/internal votes/social game...amazing. Public votes or competitions? No thanks. If the game really is changing then I'm all for it, but we shall see.

I'm confused by some of this.

Are the housemates going to be unaware of the other housemates?

The other house has been talked about for weeks building up to this, so won't the housemates going in already know because they's been bragging about the twist for weeks. Unles BB has locked this years housemates in rooms fort the past couple of months.
