BB17 Rating Guesses

So as the past few years the BB viewing ratings have dropped to new lows, what to you reckon will be the average view rate this year? :D

I think launch night will get 1.5m and the series will average at 1.2m

Think it'll peak at about 2 Million or close to that, Launch always does fairly well. About 1.5m on average, and how the rest of the series does depends on the type of housemates and also quality of the twist. Usually just edges over a Million for the regular series though.

I'd really love for them to smash it this year, and for the ratings to do good. Hopefully news of the new house etc has got enough people hyped enough to tune in.

Can we keep ratings talk to the ratings thread and can mods please sticky it I'm sure I'm not the only one who logs on and has to scroll through threads to find it where since the early years its been stickied and a staple of the forum.

Ya'll, stick to the ratings thread, this is why we need it stickied. I remember during BB16, there being 8 different threads discussing ratings because they didn't sticky the official one.

The highest a C5 BB has ever gone is like 2.2m officially.

I'm just saying with the first 7 days being crucial, if the twist is really good and people like it they could add on an extra million viewers gradually with 7 days of decent big brother easy. They just have to do it RIGHT.

Even if somehow it's fantastic, I don't think it will ever touch 2m official ever again (1.7m overnight), the sky is 1.5m for civvie nowadays IMO.

Lets not forget that Olympics and most importantly the Euro's which BB will face.

CBB has rated better than bbuk for a while now I'm just grateful c5 still bother with bbuk
