I'm sure all The Others wish they were full Housemates. I'm sure a lot of people wish they were Others or Housemates.

He'll be getting definite airtime through the Other tasks, why doesn't he see that?

Exactly. Regardless of if they're labelled as housemates or not, they applied for a game show and they're in it.
