Marco senior went through a messy divorce a few years back iirc, and he reevaluated his money, stating he felt his kids should make their own way in the world etc. I think it was at thevtime when losds of celebs and business people pledged to not leave their kids cash. He didn't buy his son a restaurant to help him start in restaurant trade, which many saw as an act of spite to wife.
