Just thought it'd be a good idea to compile a thread of all music used on the show throughout the series for the benefit of anyone who pops on the forum to find a song they've heard but don't know the name of.
So if anyone remembers any songs used in last night's launch show - be they on their VTs, on the runway as they walk into the house, or just general titles/filler music - feel free to fill in the gaps
I think most of the VTs start with a known song and are then followed by stock-music that's not really commercially available but I may be wrong?
Marco - not sure of anything in his VT / "The Day is My Enemy" by The Prodigy as he walks out.
Emma & Victoria - not sure of anything in their VT / "Runaway (You & I)" by Galantis as they walk out
Andy - "Sorry" by Justin Bieber in his VT / "Turn Down for What" by DJ Snake & Lil Jon as he walked out
Laura - "Easy Love" by Sigala in her VT / "Why Wait" by SoMo as she walked out
Alex - not sure of the song in his VT / "Hotter Than Hell" by Dua Lipa as he walked out
Lateysha - not sure of the song in her VT / "Formation" by Beyonce as she walked out
Evelyn - "Walk This Way" by MO (with a silly line through the O) in her VT / "Bad Girls" by MKTO as she walked out
Sam - "Break the Rules" by Charli XCX in his VT / "Irresistable" by Fall Out Boy as he walked out
Georgina - "Black Magic" by Little Mix in the VT / "Cool for the Summer" by Demi Lovato as she entered the house.
Jason - No real music in his VT as far as I can tell / "Psycho" by Muse as he walked out
Jackson - "Empty Threat" by CHVRCHES in his VT / "Like I Would" by Zayn Malik as he walks out
Chelsea - sounded like a Florence + the Machine song in his VT but could just be a ripoff of it / "Dream Bigger" by Axwell & Ingrosso as he walked out
End-of-show "replay" reel thing: "Figure it Out" by Royal Blood
I'll update this thread with anything you can find from future episodes / anything I've missed/don't know in this one :spin2: but probably not all in this OP because otherwise it'd get quite long :worry:
This is very useful and I'll probably end up re-watching the launch and Shazam-ing everything at some point

Good idea Shaun, I was thinking about this earlier actually.

Jason's runway song was Psycho by Muse.
Laura's runway song was apparently something called Why Wait by something called SoMo

God, I hope Con Te Partirò by Bocelli makes it onto one of the highlight shows.
And Chelsea's runway song was called Dream Bigger by Axwell & Ingrosso, if anyone liked it that much
Shaun
08-06-2016, 02:06 PM
I think the Evelyn VT song may have been:
mHWr4WY9o24
Jackson's VT music was Empty Threat by Chvrches
Shaun
08-06-2016, 02:11 PM
I thought it was them but then wrote the idea off as just a stock-music maker getting a little bit gung-ho with copyright fraud :worry:

I just tried shazamming it and it wouldn't recognise a thing with Andy talking on end about how exciting talking to Tyson Fury is, sorry </3

Shaun
12-06-2016, 09:50 PM
Didn't catch any music tonight but an awful lot of promotion for Olly Murs' "Troublemaker"
All Four Walls by Gorgon City was the only music I heard tonight, if you discount the sounds of sweet sweet love coming from Laura and Marco's bed
Garfie
12-06-2016, 09:59 PM
How about suggestions for tunes that could be used to represent or sum up each housemate?
Shaun
12-06-2016, 10:08 PM
I think that'd be a good thread idea Garfie but sadly not quite what this one's for </3

Shaun

Not sure the piano music in yesterday's episode was Einaudi now, but it's one of those bits that's always on BBC trailers for dramas/thrillers and it's going to bug me for weeks now.

Thanks Shaun for keeping it going for the whole series. It was helpful :clap1:
It turns out that during Jayne/Hughie's best bits, the "it's XXX" bit was prerecorded for the others as they couldn't walk out during the launch!
I prefer that way to be honest.
