He's under the impression that straight people birth straight people. So, because gay people can't procreate with each other they need to be "taught" to the straight kids so that some of them grow up gay to be the gay people's partners. :joker:

Please tell me (and I remember asking this question a million times in January so I don't really expect a reasonable answer) why you are always so keen to defend the homophobes' opinions but those who are annoyed by what's said aren't allowed, in turn, to express their opinions without you piping up and pretending to give a crap about free speech?

You either respect the right to an opinion or you don't, and it doesn't seem you really do at all unless the opinion is supporting this repugnant ignorance and hatred that seems to get you going. That's vile.

You are not a woman but you want them to do what you wouldn't be prepared to do yourself and wouldn't expect a man to do, that isn't respect. If you respected and thought that highly of women surely you would be discouraging your son from sleeping around also?

You can't just say 'I have a right to an opinion' as though it's a shield to protect you from criticism. Accept responsibility for your own actions if you're going to share volatile views with the world.

A few weeks ago I had reason to attend a YMCA youth club. In one of the rooms there was a chalkboard where a lesson about gender had obviously been taught. All over the board were all sorts of terms like "trans" and "gender fluid" etc and it was clear these kids were being taught dozens of different gender identities.

Children's shows have elements of romance in them all the time, most Disney films revolve around it. If you think that children knowing the gay people exists makes them less pure but are fine with them being exposed to heterosexual relationships then you are a homophobe.

Kids being taught about the real world and being given the chance to grow up to be an open-minded, accepting person who isn't repulsed by certain types of people? God, how awful. :worry:

You also might want to consider that some kids themselves are dealing with those types of issues, but I guess your solution is to just make them suppress themselves into being "normal".

I am not repulsed by people who claim to be "gender fluid." I just don't want them to be told that it is normal to claim that. It isn't.

No, you want them to grow up to be bigoted and ignorant about the world around them instead.

And nevermind the kids who are dealing with certain issues that you deem abnormal themselves. I guess they're not normal enough to be worthy of support.

You've not said shed any new light on the matter, it's still hypocritical.

It isn't hypocritical in the slightest. Boys and girls and men and women are different. They just are. I realise that society wants to make everybody the same and eliminate all traditional aspects of family, but some of us will resist it.

I am stunned that anyone can claim there is no difference between men and women sleeping around. I would be worried sick if my daughter was meeting different men in nightclubs everynight but I wouldn't worry about my son. He wouldn't face the same dangers for a start.

I find it weird a parent cold care more about one child than the other based on gender.

If I had opposite twins in the future (for example) and both were sexuality active at 15 I wouldn't lock the girl in her room and buy the boy a box of extra safe condoms.

I asked my Granddad this - because he has the same views and he says its because women can become pregnant and men run off - in the old days this would cause great shame to the family. This is why its dangerous for women to sleep around. Also if a woman wanted to get married her potential husband would be put off - if he is insecure - that she has more experience than him. They also equate it to prostitution and they dont want one for a wife just for affairs.

This is just how some older people think due to what they were exposed to when and where they growing up.

These days having outdated opinions like these are usually a sign that the individual lacks imagination as they have not formed a more accurate and updated opinion - however as a woman - I wouldnt ever get with a male sl** - I think young men running around with all different women possibly getting tied down with a pregnancy is also disgusting. Its also true that women are more vulnerable than men in terms of crime being committed against them if they get a name for themselves. At the end of the day we should all treat each other with respect.

"Gender neutral" is a different discussion entirely. You're getting your wires crossed.

The only difference you've actually gone into detail about is the fact that women have to sit down when they pee due to that part of their anatomy.

What the **** that has to do with anything is still unknown.

Male and females have sexual urges and both need sex to satisfy that urge. Also, both male and females are required to procreate. Seems fairly equal to me.

Should we also say women are not as permitted as men to satisfy their hunger for food or water? Is that not permitted by your rules of what a woman is?

?

All of them but not Hollyoaks and Love Island!

I was only chatting - because we have these family meals - and my grandad just comes out with the most unpolitically correct stuff and sometimes its kinda funny and sometimes its cringe - but I ask him why? About why its different attitude with a son/daugther and thats what he told me

People who always moan about things being too PC and "free speach" don't really want free speach at all they just want to be able to offend people without any backlash.

lmao this is so true

One thing people need to sake solace in when encountering opinions like these and that for the most part, the majority of the people who hold them will not be around forever
