Now I know it's early doors and one show in blah blah. But seeing as he's the red hot favourite to win I expected more from show1. He literally was the only housemate who did feck all last night HL show. Nothing. Even the other quieter hms had moments of vague interest eg Jayne, Andy, Georgina.

Alex did sweet FA of any note. Boring. But if he is getting paid allegedly £100k and is favourite to win the same amount I want him to be entertaining me from the word go. Otherwide he can bore the feck off if he thinks he can float under the radar for weeks whilst everyone else does stuff safe in the knowledge that Vicky Pattison , her army and the twittersphere will vote for him the winner.

He seems the type of guy who thinks he's so good looking, he doesn't need a personality, nor does he need to engage in conversation with people. All he needs tp do is to sit there and stare away and the people will come.

As much as I hated Marq last year he made an impact from the moment he entered the house and kept it up the moment he was really evicted. Judging from what I am hearing Alex has done feck all yesterday too
Even the other quieter hms have done something eg Andy's talk to Lateysha, Jayne revealing about her life and job, Andrew displaying a shrewd devious side, Georgina's mini bitching about Evelyn in DR, Emma's avacado double entendre, Marco being a creep


Alex is looking to coast along and as the favourite and a housemate who inevitably will probably be in final I beleive he should come under biggest scrutiny. This thread will serve as Alex watch.

I have a feeling he won't do much.

He has a reputation of being extremely nice, civil and understanding. So he is too normal for the C5 series of BB, and he looks out of place.

He'd fare much better in something like IAC which is focussed on "bravery" rather than BB which focusses on "entertainment".

This is coming from someone who knows people that know him (and Sam). Sam is not liked at all. But Alex is.

But that ultimatley means someone like Sam would be more interesting to watch.

I think the quiet ones generally are ones to look for, and ultimately become better HMs because they are not so fixated with being so overbearing in the first day.

The thing I'm worried about with Alex, is that if he gets to the final week all he'll need is a reasonably good edit, lots of shots of him shirtless and having a laugh and a joke, and he'll get a flood of votes. And with everyone else having their good and bad sides shown, it's more than likely that he'll be in the final with HM's who have a lot of 'haters', so he'll also get the 'anti-whoever he's up against' vote.

Was apparent from BOTS that Natalie had a good sense of fun and was not always arguing in the house but BB never showed us that side because it's not what a lot of viewers want....
