View Full Version : Is it fair that Emma stayed?

People on social media are moaning that Emma is still a housemate because Victoria walked and because they are one housemate it means Emma shouldn't really be a housemate

Do you agree?

I think Emma has the right to stay without her twin, yes they came in as one housemate but I don't think it's a rule that both have to leave if only one twin wants to walk the other twin has the right to stay, it's only a rule when/if they get evicted. Twins can be independent :spin:

I think it's fair. I'm not a fan of double housemates anyway, that needs to stop imo. At least now it's more fair for her.

I think it's less fair to have two people playing as "one" housemate.

Good point. It makes the no discussion of nominations rule virtually non-existent with twins.

Yes. One choosing to leave shouldn't mean the other should be forced to go also.

Yes I fail to see the problem

Why though? They only have 2 nominations between them the same as everyone else?

I do see why people would see them as having an advantage. Apart from the basic of just having someone there as a constant support base, there's also the chance of (if the twins end up having distinct personalities) people having issues with one twin but not nominating them because they like the other (this issue was brought up by some housemates on BBAU5 when they had twins playing together).

Of course it could also go the other way and one twin could end up nominated / evicted because of something the other one did.

I don't understand why anyone would have a problem with it

Because 2 people discussing how to vote, having perspective on the house is not equal to every other housemate. Nor is the fact they have each other for comfort whilst everyone else is separated from their family.

So, how is Emma playing alone LESS fair than when she had her twin?

Im totally sick of twins anyway. It was a novelty when the first set went in I think that was Sam and Amanda but it has been done now. Even the mother and daughter combo of Jackie and Charlie was stupid. In a way I am glad Victoria is gone as we will be able to identify Emma now in her own right. I know BB has to keep coming up with new ideas but please NO MORE TWINS

This.
It never actually offers anything to the show.

A series full of twins may have been interesting.

One twin in each house.

There's no sense in booting Emma out because the other one left.

Yes, I don't see the problem
I don't like having twins on the show anyway

They went in together so should leave together .

BB gave them the status of both being one Hm .

What would be unfair is to ruin Emma's BB experience because Victoria left!

They knew that when they went in as one Hm , they would have been evicted as one regardless of how well liked one of them may have been .

They weren't evicted though. Nothing was said about what would happen if one of them walks, so no 'rules' have been broken

BB can change the rules at any time, so they will do as they please anyway.

I don't see why one twin should have to be punished because the other twin couldn't stand living in the house

I think it's fair because I've never liked the fact that two people alcan be considered as one housemate just because they're related. It'll be interesting to see how she copes without her twin, and I'm glad we'll probably be seeing more of her because I actually quite like her.

Just watched Vic in the DR speaking to BB ...I have no clue what the heck she was on about .

They are individual human beings, sure it's fair as long as both are happy
