Shocked Alex showed signs of life when he had a small spat with Hughie. However it initially sounded like Alex was jovially taking the p*ss out of Hughie's accent and Hughie either was oblivious or ignored it and got into the spat.

It seemed like Alex was just trying to be the cliche chivalrous guy by telling Hughie to chill while ignoring the fact that Natalie was the one who provoked him by making a snide comment in the first place.

This will impact his popularity if he continues to side with Gnat ( in either direction) ie he will get more air time and gain fans, or his association with her will decimate his support.

Yep right now it seems very much that Alex and Jackson are in the Natalie camp which won't be good for their popularity especially considering Hughie had an incredible show tonight with so many positive tweets on Twitter and comments on forums.
