I cant see what purpose it fills. Does not being a HM mean that one day they are going to dump all there HM's left in that house. Does it mean that only people in that house can be nominated. Does it mean that they are doomed to suffer some atrocities because from what I can see, the only difference is that they have to wear boiler suits and don't do tasks.
BB had a plan and it went tits up, now they are winging it. I think the only reason why they are using the Other house, is to protect the HM's they want to by protecting them from noms and evictions by splitting the houses in 2.
When you take popular people out of the limelight like they did to alex and Jackson and now Chelsea, they go into hibernation and alter the dynamics of both houses, so I cant see the logic of this dam house. Once again the prods are all about manufacturing drama and once again its failing badly.
Everytime a story develops, they manage to kill it. Marco was en route to do something really daft, then they piss him off and inject fear into his daily actions which killed his mood. He aint going over the top when hes in a bad mood is he. I simply cant see what they are getting at and its little wonder people are switching off.

I agree with a lot of what you're saying here, but I think Marco pissed himself off when the focus of attention shifted from him to Chelsea being ousted from the main house; that and the fact that Laura had gone cold on him since hearing the crowd booing her on eviction night.
While I struggle to see what it is about Jackson & Alex that makes them popular inside & outside the house, because I don't think what they were doing or saying was having any significant impact, I have to accept that they are.
Your 'hibernation' idea would be an excellent way of removing someone (like Marco) who's monopolising attention, to the detriment of other housemates and perhaps creating a more interesting dynamic in the other house, but it's failed here because the people who've gone into the other house are just not that interesting.

No point at all in my view now and after only 1 week of the series too.

All that money time and effort spent on a white Elephant and now it seems they are ruining the programme in order to make sence of the other houses existence. Why not just close it up, turn it into a Jail or dungeon and use it as a punishment center, much like it is now but with consequences. Its little more than a half way house and seeing as how we are on that subject, why is Ryan still in the main house, they failed their tasks badly.

Like the Punishment Centre idea, but who would they cast as Chief Torturer now that they've ejected Andrew? :hee:

Look at it another way. Its purpose is to stress the loyality of the HM.
Make the real HM's fail so you can be a real HM! If you fail you get evicted. If you suceed then you must suffer as a real HM having suceeded in your task. While your old friends have the benefit of your sucess. This is rich house poor house theme but also a game of swop between the houses.

I get your point but from what we see, the poor house is an umbrella used to protect people from being evicted. You cant evict a non housemate, so its purpose is daft

When the pattern is recognised they will change the pattern to keep things unbalanced. I feel as if they are dragging out the eviction process.

we are well over a week in and they have too many people in there for the main house so until they get below the numbers needed to operate one house, we will have to suffer this inane crap

Was a good idea that went bad...last night it was just a vehicle for Jayne to seek revenge and blackmail someone....of course her plan is gonna back fire completely and Chelsea will have everyone supporting him....she's got more chance of sh-tting in The Queens handbag then she has of ever getting into the main house
