Da'Vonne's only purpose is DR commentary and her DRs weren't even that good this year, Zakiyah is utterly worthless and pathetic, Bridgette would be fine I guess but even so I'm not dying to see her come back, Paulie is completely abhorrent, and the next evictee would just prompt a revolving door which is kinda boring and stagnant.

This was the first week that was actually half-decent for the most part (even though post-POV meeting was tedious as could be) and it really shows that the veterans and sibling sucked the life out of the season. Things only picked up when the newbies collectively decided to start actively playing the game, and I think the current dynamics right now are interesting enough with three solid duos and a free agent in Michelle. I hope I'm proven wrong, but I don't see how having someone else come back into the game is going to improve anything. The only purpose it serves is to keep this show running so that it can end the same night as Survivor premieres, which really proves that 13 weeks is a ridiculous length and that production more or less makes things up as they go along.

I kinda liked this week's episodes tbh. The James/Natalie drama was a solid storyline point. Both of them sort of looked bad in the end but I liked actually seeing some drama for the first time since Paulie's eviction.

For me I've kinda liked the episodes generally speaking but just not enough to call it anywhere near a good or even ok season... and there's plenty of episodes that were full of filler, or flat out bad. Plus, the feeds were always atrocious outside of a few random nights. To me they made the most out of the moments they got but it still didn't amount to too much over the course of the season.

It's not awful but I'm just ready for this season to end. I do like that Paul/Nicole/Victor all still (technically) have a shot at winning the game so there's something I can keep interest in.

usually when something Is Typed Like This, it's usually laced in sarcasm and facetiousness, as if to mock the type of posts and opinions you'd find in the dredges of Facebook comments and DigitalSpy, where people actually type like that.

That last bit in particular is to mock how this show always feels the need to proclaim it's winner as The Ultimate Mastermind when this game is ridiculously dependent on luck because power shifts come from asinine carnival games where someone happens to roll their ball the right way into a certain slot. Nicole gave handjobs to a dumb Texan bigot who isn't even into her for two months and then capitalized on production's help in the eleventh hour; she's far from the mastermind the show wants us to think she is.

I was discussing this on another forum and we realized that the worst part about Nicole winning is that the show can check off its "obligatory female winner" box now and we're gonna have five more years of douchebro winners named AJ, Mike, Ricky, Travis, and Randy, and I'm sure they'll each be part of some awful alliance named The Assassins or something similar.
