Amazing promo when was the last time a civilian housemate was making so many headlines and appearing on other tv shows after eviction?

This year really is taking the tabloids by storm and even though the overnights have been low recently I suspect we will see some very good officials today :)

Keen to see his interview...he's done a lot for the exposure of the show....This Morning don't ever show any intereste in regular BB till the final weeks if at all...and BB Uk never got a mention in Australia before.
He should have stayed, he made people watch the show who may usually never bother.

It was on right at the beginning. He did answer the questions but was hesitant, as if he wasn't quite sure what to say at times.

He said his engagement is off, and that he realises now that 'hall passes' don't actually work. I think he was suggesting that the two of them had different understandings of what they actually meant by it, and he said he now feels guilty, and he took it too far. He said they talked about it as he recognised things might happen as he was going into the BB house, but from what he said I got the impression that she saw it as meaning she would forgive him if he slipped up while drunk or something. but that he saw it as meaning he had free reign to do whatever he wanted from the moment he went in there.

He said it is the second time he has been engaged, and he didn't really understand why he was choosing to get engaged so young.

He said that his father is supporting him, but was not happy with some of the things he did and said. Apparently, things have been difficult for his 15 year old sister, and he said he regrets what he did because of the effect on her.

It was quite interesting, and worth a watch, especially if you are a Marco fan.

Judging from that interview I don't think they asked him on. He probably has a really good agent and PR people who felt like he needed to clear things up after the tit he made of himself in the house.

Maybe when his fiancé gave him a hall pass she should have been more specific about how far down the hall he could go......it's a shame they have ended their relationship but getting engaged after a few weeks to a lad as young and wild as Marco was pretty doomed anyway....shes 34, she must have known that....I never took the whole engagement thing seriously...I actually had more respect for the hall pass concept but in this case it hasn't really worked out

hot2go
20-06-2016, 02:25 PM
Just watched his interview....still think the same, I really like the bloke....I liked how he didn't regret his fun with Laura he only regretted that it upset people he cares about...he didn't just dismiss her and make her look rubbish or cheap ...or blame her....he never shows resentment and i like that about him.
I also like that he put his hands up and admitted he took it too far....I feel sorry for his ex but he had consulted her before accepting the opportunity to enter the house and she did say he could enjoy himself while he was in there....I don't think it's completely either of them fully to blame...obv they had different interpretations of what her hall pass was..
At least he asked her if it was ok before he went on the show....if she has sold a story to the press then she didn't ask him if it was ok because she would know that it would never be ok....that is a big a deal breaker for him as what he did is a deal breaker for her.
Don't know why Philip Scofeild is reading stuff Marco is supposed to have said in the press when he's got the real person sitting in front of him that will give him a more real unedited version....Schofield likes to corner people and play Judge Philip, he did same thing recently to Noel Edmunds but he want so keen when it was being done to him two years ago after his monumental cock up with David Cameron.

..or not guided at all at the time that he needed those boundaries most, maybe..

True, what guidance do kids ever get from a mother that would sell stories about them to the press...I thought he would be more manic but he was very calm and mature in the interview..

Very different behaviour compared to Stephanie Davies who left the house in similar circumstances earlier in the year....
She went on TV and laughed at the person she had hurt and tried to discredit him ...while never once taking responsibility or showing any remorse at all for betraying and humiliating her fiancé while his family, his friends and 2 million viewers watched.
I thought Marco took it in the chin and was very professional in his interview

Jamie89
20-06-2016, 02:57 PM

Exactly  It's not to absolve him of responsibility but if you grow up without guidance and boundaries then it's probably to be expected that you'll end up with issues.

Technically, they've always been paid as they still have bills/rent to pay on the outside world so BB pays them for their time spent in the house.

Nowadays, some of them are probably paid quite high fees like in CBB.

Maybe BB thought 2 months value for their money would be better than 2 weeks but they didn't anticipate the viewers to be so upset by him....can't blame BB not predicting the reaction...after all, the last person who went in the house and cheated on their fiancé was voted second place by the viewers...and she didn't even have a hall pass
