And how the audience gorge down this crap. Big Brother UK over the years has just developed into feeding on the hypocritical hatred on the audience for trash storylines. They swallow all the crap about the 'baddies' and the 'goodies' instead of being interesting in them as real human beings who are in a difficult situation. Every task infantile and to create conflict and then trying to justify that with some bull**** storyline.

Exactly why BBUK needs to adopt the BBCAN/ BBUS format.

Meh. its total trash TV but I can't help loving it.
Never really understand why those who moan constantly about how the show is now crap still watch it tbh

I've just been waiting for the US one to start, starts tonight.
Agreed StephenPullen. I think vote to evict and CH5 killed the show. The Australian one played it better by keeping by vote to save.

I know that, that's why I said combination of that and CH5 (no live feed, camping it up into more stereotypes, more script driven). Vote to save is better though, particularly when you see how BB began to get really negative from BB6 onwards. CH5 made it so it's largely all about hate.

Totally agree.
Well it's not too difficult to just not watch.
I'm with Vicky, really don't get how people that 'hate' the show or think it's terrible or scripted whatever even waste their time of day not only watching it but also spending time on a forum about it.

I'll third that, if it's such an affront to some folks why spend time watching and complaining about it? Go out and ride a bike, watch another channel.

Why do you waste your valuable time watching some thing you have contempt for....and then use even more of your time to come here and ridicule it ?
  If I don't like something I don't watch it.

Liking a programme that has compelling viewing traits is a byproduct of our society. Most protagonists don't hate BB, they hate whats going on in the programme but they are still compelled to watch.
If we all loved the show and got fuzzy warm feelings about it, this forum would be dead and buried. This forum survives because of diverse views and the good old british disease called complaining

Vote to evict is not good. The loudest characters go while the dullards coast to the final :fist:

The start last year was actually ok, until the stupid 4 out twist. But I have watched very little of it on CH5, I've enjoyed the US and Australian versions more. It's too hard to relate to anymore, though the screaming chavs at evictions still seem to like it.
