Alex or Evelyn?

The general consensus seems to be that they're the least interesting/entertaining so far, so given the choice between them, who would you EVICT?

I'd evict Alex. I feel like Evelyn probably has more potential. I'm also tired of there being a typical hot dull male every year taking the place of a potentially good housemate.

From a game point stand, I'd want Alex evicted because if not then he is going to walk himself into finals without doing anything all because he is "nice" and "good looking" but on a personality standpoint I have to go with Evelyn because shes like a brick. She talks a lot of crap about people behind their backs and now that Marco is gone, is trying to be more out there to get attention but is just coming off as immature (her thing with Charlie and her yelling that Laura was hit even thought Natalie barely touched the girl)

I'm on board with what people are saying about choosing Alex as a 'game move' type thing. If it wasn't for us letting types like him sail through in the past in favour of evicting people who are more annoying/more bitchy etc, then he probably wouldn't be there now being so cocky and laid back (and dull).

Evelyn hides behind bigger characters and she she accused Andy of something he hadn't done without hearing his side of the story and without apologising when he gave it to her.

Alex may start to show us more of who he is and it may or may not be good when he does...but she's already shown a side to who she is and its two faced and a bit mean,..which ain't necessarily a bad thing but there are others already in there that are better at it.

The only thing I remember him saying was last night when he talked about how happy he was to be voted sexiest housemate... they'll show us that, but not anything else he's talked about... says it all in terms of what purpose the producers see him serving on the show :bored:

I didn't like Danny in BB16, but even he did more in his series than Alex has done in this one so far.

My main issue with Alex which is making him the dullest to me so far is that every time I hear him speak (or someone else to him) it's about his looks 99% of the time.

And the one time Alex showed something different he behaved like a dick and that was when him, Jackson, and Ryan ganged up on Hughie in the Other House.

My guilty pleasure is also Jackson- I find him quite endearing and get the feeling that there is more depth to him than people seem to think.

I don't think he will turn out to be a Danny. Danny was volatile and lacked self control, whereas I think Alex has immense self-control. Even when he steps in when others are in a full blown argument, he doesn't (in general) say anything or do anything, but chooses to just be a silent presence ready to prevent any physical contact should it occur. I think if he was going to lose it, he would have done so already.

To me Alex is holding back so much of his character, but I can't ever see him being nominated by the housemates. I can't understand why the producers are showing nothing of him.

Exactly, there must be a reason people like him and its a bit unfair to not give us anything about him so we find him so boring UNLESS he just is that boring. Even then, I dont want week six to role around and him be this either boring guy or douchey guy that finally starts getting air because by then he will already be in the finals with how this show goes. To me, I have to wonder whats going on because there have been plenty of "likeable" (as in the housemates liked them) characters thats actually got airtime.

I feel its a tad mean but I'd rather him be gone because he might win and is an utter bore instead of Evelyn being gone because she talks **** and over exaggerates because at least she contributes something.

Heck, Jackson is falling into the "doesnt contribute much" category as well even if he is a fav of mine.

All it took was a few instances though for Danny to become a loose canon and I could possibly see Alex falling trap to the same behaviors. The truth is though, we dont know anything about Alex besides the fact he thinks himself as hot so its too early to tell.

Alex, so dull. Evelyn has made me laugh 2x. Naked dancing with Laura to Celine Dion My Heart will Go On and saying Natalie was her ex during the others reveal and we all thought "WTF" before she confirmed it was a joke.

Alex has done nothing but be bland, congenial and innocuous. He's very self controlled to the extent if there is the slightest scintilla of anything intriguing about him he will be able to conceal it. He'd be a great work colleague, but is a crap hm. .
