View Full Version : BB17 or BB13
Arguably BB13 is ranked as C5 best civilian series on here, this time on BB13 we were around Benedict's eviction, do you think this series is proving better at the moment.
I can't really decide since I don't like anybody as much as I did with Deana (even though Jayne is coming close) but the series quality is better then BB13 atm

So far, it's a lot better than BB13
Judging on the same timeframe, BB17 is far better IMO.

BB17 > BB14 > BB13 so far!

The same for me atm. We'll see when the series ends.

BB13 >
It could change but I doubt it, still too much manipulation and looks like my faves will all go early yet again.

ia with this
it was natural at first but tonight was like a step back to BB15 with tasks to create conflict and it worked. BB13 was natural

I need to rewatch 13 to decide, and 17 to end first...
But 17 is top 3 of C5, if not better than 14 so far.

I still prefer BB13
There's something about this series that's just making it feel a little off but still amazing
13>14>17>>>>>> other C5 atm

BB14 > BB13.....
But BB17 could easily overtake BB14 I think. It's getting really good
The shocking blasphemy in this thread

I preferred BB13 doing full nominations and not the "half of them nominating" thing we've had so far but BB17's been more entertaining for me up until now (as entertaining as BB13 was).

We'll judge on Week 5 and see if BB17 peaks then too

This series needs Turf Wars tbh

I've enjoyed it more than the first 2 weeks of BB13 tbh, however I still like BB13 more as all of the drama was natural and wasn't created by tasks. (I just watched last nights HL show and that task was one of the worst ever imo).

Every series does
They should just reuse all of the BB13 shopping tasks every series tbh
Daniel.

I mean, who cares? As long as it's not like 15/16
Fight Night and Cidergate wouldn't have happened without interference.

Maybe just not the dull cowboy one, that was a tad boring.

I just don't like it when they show housemates conversations/Diary Room entries to the house, that's when it goes too far
Jason.

That's true. C4 were smart with their meddling and it wasn't so obvious - Bedsit and Secret Garden were also great twists too regardless of what they soon culminated in (Fight Night/Cidergate).
Showing DR conversations as part of a task to just cause conflict is just uncreative and was done to death in BB15.

I swear revealing someones nominations was a part of every shopping task in BB15 :omgno:.
At least in BB16 they got slightly better about that.
Daniel.

I don't really think it's a C4 vs C5 issue tbh. Those examples were over a decade ago before every twist had been exhausted over and over. Once the show's been on for as long as it has now there isn't as much room for brand new creative twists. It's less about C5 having no creativity and more about the show in general being at the point where twists in general are just bound to be predictable.
Of course the solution to that should be just stopping the twists rather than reusing the same tactics over and over, but that's another issue.
Either way, I enjoyed last night's show so I can't really complain
