Neither did justice to the original song.

I loved how the judges praised Shayne's version, how he did it.... they all pointed out how unique he made it.

Although, it was copied note by note from another performance of a US male (who's name is eluding me at the moment).

And Leona's was just a poor immitation of Eva Cassidy's classic.

My sister was obsessed with opera/singing techniques at the time of the series, and she pointed out that, actually, he had an awful falsetto, technically.
