I missed the show last night, was out gettin pissed, I cba to watch it on catchup but just wanna ask 1 thing on here:
On wikipedia, it says Natalie had the most votes to evict out of 2. Slightly confused as there was 3 up. What happened? I hope the HMs didn't decide who was evicted out of the 2 with the most votes?

The voting lines are 'frozen' and Emma announces who received the fewest votes to evict and they are safe - then they reopen the lines to evict for the remaining two housemates.

I hate how inconsistent they are with vote freezes tbh. They should've done it last week as well, cause now it just looks like C5 want to make it obvious to the housemates that Charlie is not that liked and Hughie is quite liked, yet they didn't do that last week with Andy & Georgina (who were most likely the two with the fewest votes although the HMs wouldn't know that)

They do it for more money! So people will phone in again! even though its pointless! as its vote to evict.

They should either do it every week or not do it at all.

I loved how they did it in CBB17 with the split show tbh, I'm sad they didn't bring that back.

They usually do vote freezes in CBB, but on BB it's a but rare with the VTE.
But they only do VTE vote freezes when the producers know that a person has by far the least amount of votes. They did it last night surely because all week it looked like Hughie was getting by far the least votes to evict, and judging by a lot of people's negativity towards him, the producers thought it was the perfect opportunity to "shake it up". This is what someone told me who worked for C5 for temp work two years back (well it was during BB14 actually).
So, yeah basically, i think the producers saw that Hughie was polling in the least votes by a long way that they organised the vote freeze. Because TBH, a straight forward Natalie eviction wouldn't have made that much of an impact. But Hughie being saved first would make an impact.
If that makes sense :)
I recall they did the same thing with calling Gina out with the least votes during Jackie's eviction.

I thought they did it for every eviction in BB14 and BB15?

I just thought it was an attempt to generate more profit...

And that too...
But that's just one of the reasons.

Emma went to the house to reveal the housemate with the fewest votes to save them, then the vote opened again between the other two then Natalie went

Actually, you're right, but I think they stopped doing it after Steven's eviction, and then after that they only did it for the mass BB16 eviction when Simon went (where they saved 6 people).
So, I don't know, that was what I was told anyway. That's probably why they did it last night and not next week, because I don't think Georgina polled in the least votes the week before, so they did a straight forward Marco eviction. I don't think Andy/Emma being saved first would have been a big deal.
We'll see what they do next week.
