View Full Version : BB set for numerous double evictions?

With this being the 3rd week of 8 in the series, we've seen one person walk (Victoria), one ejected (Andrew) and two evicted (Marco and Natalie) With just 5 weeks to go, and 15 housemates still in play, this would mean, based on one eviction per week that we would have a finale of approximately 11 or 12 people.

Are we likely to see more frequent evictions, as with celebrity big brother i.e. two per week, or are we likely to see two evicted every friday night, perhaps something relating to one each being an other and a regular housemate? Leaving around 8/9 still in the house come finale night. Or could the other alternative be something more menacing, such as several booted before finale night?

Whatever the case is, in terms of those still in play I'd rule out any more housemates coming in, but could this cause something similar to 4 in 4 out as seen with last years series?

it's 9 weeks? There are 63 episodes scheduled.

Day 25 - 1 HM evicted (14 HM's remaining)
Day 32 - 1 HM evicted (13 HM's remaining)
Day 39 - 1 HM evicted (12 HM's remaining)
Day 46 - 1 HM evicted (11 HM's remaining)
Day 53 - 2 HM's evicted (9 HM's remaining)
Day 60 - 2 HM's evicted (7 HM's remaining)
Day 63 (Monday 8th August) - Final
I bet someone will walk or be ejected, and if not I guess there will be a surprise eviction somewhere along the line, probs around day 57.

BB is counting on the housemates to be fiery enough to get ejected/walk out? I imagine the production team desperately trying to convince housemates to leave in the DR. :hehe:

I just hope it won't be another 4in4out (or more precisely 4out4out), because with the current cast it will be terrible more than last year's.

Emma's described it as being 8 weeks long (and more recently, 7 and a half) on more than one occasion

The series only has 3-4 Friday evictions left before the final around 29 July (Day 53). Emma Willis said the series only had 4.5 to 5 weeks left on Friday.

I didn't realise TV guides went that far forward?

It says like the number of episodes, for example:

21/63

Surely it wont be 7 and a half weeks long?! Why can't they just extend it to 9 or 10? Idgi

It was revealed during the launch that it was only eight weeks long. Marco also confirmed the eight weeks accidentally during his eviction interview - he said something along the lines of "I could have been in there for eight weeks at the most".

What's wrong with having a 2 part final IMO

I'm all for a 4 in 4 out if the 4 out are Charlie, Georgina, Sam and Lateisha.

I'm guessing that number is including the eviction shows that are split in two, sadly

None of the evictions this series have been in 2 parts :suspect:

It's such bollocks especially because this cast is much stronger than last series who got 66 days... Anything less than 64 is just way too short, especially because the CBB cast will turn out to be just as "famous" as this group anyway

Channel 5's press guide lists the series as having 63 episodes, which would make sense for a 63/64 day series.

As well as this, Big Brother: Live From the House has 10 episodes. The first on launch, the live twist that went badly wrong and then every eviction after that. Maybe you can get a finale date from that, I don't know.

63 episodes would take it to Monday the 8th of August..
And going by 10 live post eviction shows, assuming they're now only on each Friday, the last one would be Friday the 5th..
And this would be exactly 9 weeks..

I really can't see a Monday finale though, but that could happen with CBB then launching on the Thursday/Friday? Because apparently the gap this year is back to just a few days.
