Great HM - and the divided opinion, good talking point.

BB read the comments made by housemates who talked nominations....they included Lateysha saying she thinks Andy hates her...Andy went up to her just afterwards to tell her he does actually like her but she chose to not believe him...Andy has never nominated her and has never said he doesn't like her.
Like him a lot. He's interesting and different.

He's a bit of a trouble maker.
He's trying to cause friction in the house using his supposed subtle intelligent scheming.
But the housemates can see right through him. Proving he is not as intelligent as he thinks he is.

Yeah i like Andy he's misunderstood by many of the thicko's in there.

He's a snidey little sh!t.
Odd ball and schemer, in real life as well as in the house.

He is fantastic and housemates cant handle is is more intelligent then them all put together
I think he's a brilliant HM. He's not afraid of doing what he believes is right irrespective of what others think of him or how they will treat him. That takes guts.

I find him okay.
My main thing that I have against Andy though which could turn to dislike is that he'll proudly **** stir, and then play the victim afterwards to the public, that is not cool.:nono:

Why would Lateysha or Charlie or Sam or any of that lot think Andy should have some kind of loyalty to them ? Arrogant pr-cks.....
Andys loyalty is to Jason and he was right to stand by his integrity.
They all nominated him on Tuesday and made his life hell last week....he owes them nothing
MrWong
02-07-2016, 02:37 PM
He's loyal to his mate and calls out the clique yet I still can't warm to him
He's just alright I guess.

this ^^
he unsettles most the others because they're left feeling uneducated and ill-mannered by comparison, which they deal with by saying he feels superior to them etc..., etc..., etc....
every single one of them has spoken about other housemates ''behind their backs'', but it's okay for them to do it as it's just discussing their feelings about a situation. when andy does the same thing, exposing their hypocrisy, then he's a snake/**** stirrer/vile/whichever epithet they choose to sling his way - usually very loudly

I didnt really think much of him at first but he has quickly became one of my favorites. People are getting upset with him because he doesnt have to resort to yelling matches to make his point. He may be a **** stirrer but im more inclined to side with Jasons evaluation of him which is that he just sometimes can be a doughnut that doesnt quite get how he is coming off to others.
Much prefer him to houseguests that **** talk their own little clique and exclude people.

This is very true I think....just because they feel inferior to him doesn't mean he feels superior to them....he doesn't appear to discriminate people in his assessment of them, it seems based on their behaviour not their position or their education. If that were true he would have gravitated more to Georgina than Jason.

..that would make him an extremely bad communicator, then..because it's not how anyone should be made to feel and if he does that, then he really isn't communicating himself very well at all, I would say..?..people should never be 'left feeling un-educated and ill mannered'...
...anyways, I do think that's his 'flaw' really, that he may be well meaning etc but he doesn't communicate well and doesn't appear to be a 'team player' ...I know that it's not a team gameshow but an individual thing but there also has to be a balance in that in some situations when it comes to house dynamics and not instigating confrontations etc...those things do have to be considered and I feel that's a huge weakness in him and his personality...I don't think that 'going and telling someone this is being said and that is being said' is the way..and he's quite a contradiction with that because the people that he's hurting most in relaying information in the way that he does are the very people who he's apparently 'protecting'.../I always think it's strange that people do that..he should go directly..(and non-confrontationally directly to the source of the bitching/type thing...I also don't think that there is a clique as such, maybe one of the few times that we haven't had one ..for all of their ups and downs and the initial 'others' situation, I think that they're all fairly much a group and that's why Andy's way is not really a great way as well because he seems to distance himself from the group so much....
..anyways, I don't dislike him as such but his very character isn't one that encourages warming to either so he's a bit of an odd one.../interesting...

He should stop apologising to the lumps of wood when they challenge him for telling the truth.
That's my only criticism of the lad.
...well, we watch those lumps of wood so I guess we're all just splinters, then..

Love him great HM :) My fave since the beginning :)
still makes me giggle thinking about during that darkroom task (with Hughie & Nat when she was giving Hughie crap directions for course) when he got up off chair .. said he couldn't watch anymore knelt down and put his head down on chair LOL
..that would make him an extremely bad communicator, then..because it's not how anyone should be made to feel and if he does that, then he really isn't communicating himself very well at all, I would say..?..people should never be 'left feeling un-educated and ill mannered'...
Yeah, how dare he talk quietly and reasonably. He needs to gossip and yell to fit in and make them feel more comfortable ffs! :fist:
Seriously though, he does go about things in a way most people wouldn't if they want to be accepted into a group - whether he is doing that because of his own moral code and to hell with them or on purpose I don't know, but I suspect the former. Whatever, he's certainly a divisive character and the one I find the most intriguing out of the bunch... I like him as do many others so there is definitely something about him that have people warming to him. Personally, I think he's genuinely very principled but a bit socially awkward at times. So quite endearing really in a way.

Andy has authority behind what he says because he knows who he is and has total faith in what he believes to be the truth...... .Jason is probably the same too, he is less eloquent than Andy but what he does say he's says clearly and firmly with complete conviction..
..Alex is the same but he's not honest enough to get involved and not strong enough to risk being unpopular. Yet ironically he's the housemates hero.
Jackson, Sam, Huey, Ryan, Chelsea are inconsistent and are known to change their views and opinions.

Yes..and he doesn't seem to care about fitting in or being popular with the others, he's going to stick with who he is and to hell with those who don't like it, which is rare. He's the very opposite of a sheep. I love that.
And yes, Jason is a straight talker too. It's no wonder they are friends in there.
He is turning me and has made it onto my sig..needs to ditch jason though.

Andy can say one sentence and it has more impact than hours of shouting and screaming from the others.

it's his controlled use of language and maturity when handling situations that leaves the others feeling as they do BECAUSE they cannot help but compare it in their heads to their own behaviour. he's true enough to himself not to dumb down too much just to 'fit in' with the bell ends.

As a person he's fine yeah.
As a housemate he's trying the most tedious gameplan imaginable and ultimately a bit of a wet blanket. If he ended up winning and previous series have allowed the "nice guy underdog" to flop in 5th or 3rd in the final (Chris, Christopher, Alex), then why the hell should he win now?

One of the few people in there I like. I do feel for him not being to have an intelligent conversation, must be driving him bonkers. I think he has integrity and I think he often feels no matter what he does someone will find something about him to bitch about.
