I don't think it was about being nice, despite what she said. I think she was trying to get the message across that Jason isn't the hero he seems to be playing by not turning for his dog, because he has been away from it for extended periods of time on numerous occasions before, so it isn't actually the big deal he wanted it to seem.

I am still convinced that Jason is playing the game of being Mr Nice Guy, to get as much admiration and sympathy as he can, in order to avoid nominations from his housemates and to gain votes from the viewing public.

The 'nice guy' would be an animal lover who misses his dog terribly, but cares so much about his fellow housemates that he resists the urge to see that dog for their benefit. I think tonight played into his hands nicely, but he had to shut Charlie up or else the benefits would be lost.

I thought he did not like her repeating it over and over because it must've been really hard not to turn around to his pup. I have worked with animal rescue and have a few of my own so that had to feel like murder to not be able to turn around.... especially when that's the one bitch he'd rather see.

Charlie wanted him to turn around so she could be like "See, I love dogs. I'm a lovely person, right?" She's an interesting housemate and she cracks me up sometimes but can't stand that about her.
