I'm sorry but this task is just a piss take!
If ANY family member or friend/whatever enters they SHOULD NOT be allowed to tell housemates how they are perceived.
Yes BB can change the rules at any time but the funda-fckuking-mental rule is no contact or influence from the outside world.
Big Brother is a tv show where apparent strangers are locked down in a house for wat now is only a few months with no contact from the outside world........Can I just ask this question? Whats the point of the show if the housemates get to sleep with their loved ones and others are told by annoying as FKUK (Andys fiancé also known as the most patronising "fiancé" EVER!) I wanna say Ed?......Can tell Jayne how shes being perceived?! Doesn't that effect her behaviour in te house and shes been amazing! Trust this post we will now see a very toned down Jayne where we had a 49 year old Nikki Grahame lol.....Producers are ****ING IDIOTS! AND I HOPE THEY READ THESE FORUMS!
Remember when Emma was presenting BOTS and Narinder and Brian banged on the windows it was a big deal in her eyes as it affected REALITY!..........I do also get the feeling that Emma feels the same when presenting its a bit *eurgh this isn't the show I used to love*
Ok that's my tuppence and I shall await the backlash lol but I hope loyal BB fans agree?
I will say this has been a great series up until now and the set is amazing but the other house looks like Butlins.

I do think the outside influence is taking away some of the effect of the experience away from the housemates, especially when they are allowed to tell them outside information that affects their game. I don't think you're in the wrong for feeling the way you do.
I'm still enjoying the series on the whole though. I'm more weary of the mass eviction exodus/whatever and want them to get back to the normal game. Last year it felt like the HM's got fed up after a while trying to play the game with all the interference from producers. Hoping that won't happen this year.

They USED TO ruin the evictions thank god for the amazing new studio :)

55 days is shocking!.....Ive spent longer in friends houses lol......Wasn't pretty.

Ive loved this year but this task has really taken me back to BB10/BB11/BB12 lets not blame Channel 5 remember the abortion of an episode where David and Lisa actually went gallivanting around London and BB11 where Mario done some pathetic trick infront of the crowd?!
This has been going on since 2009 its not a new thing but Channel 5 have taken it to a new level......Theres even an article in the Mirror about how "Its not Big Brother anymore" google it.
EDIT: Actually I take that back Mario doing a magic trick on Davina McCall on stage in front of the audience was the lowest point of BB EVER!......Its also when they started using music montages ect Channel 4 went out on a fun theme and Channel 5 seeing the spike in ratings followed suit.

David and Lisa actually went gallivanting around London.
They were producers little pets, hate em two. Repulsive pests. But Marcus and Freddie were great, they did create the real spirit of BB back then.

That cast was great they literally didn't need any stupid twists or "Daddys back" type of **** (Which he was told to say).
BB is like The Nightmare On Elm Street Franchise they allways seem to need to make it more epic when in actuality REALITY is better.

It's incredibly frustrating and everything wrong with current production but I still have some hope left in the cast.

Won't be happen unless they change the production team. They need to get back on basics. BB UK is not Survivor, Lovers Island, BB US.....

Your post was a complaint that theyre getting too much outside influence.. My post was it doesnt matter when they get a direct popularity guage once a week.

The whole show is one big mess now and fookin Andy's BF looks like a vagrant with a terrible dress sence and even worse taste in men. He even tried to get into the DR with Jackson, WTF, send them both home as they are working together on a massive game plan. The proposal, the spreading little outsider gossip, its all designed to get Andy in the news and camera time. Sick of it all now

So she goes to the DR not long after and has another meltdown - the first in a long while.
Coincidence? I don't think so. Ed has done us a favour by reminding her what we liked about her...
On another note I have to agree that I don't like any outside interference at all, which they have been doing for years now. I hoped they wouldn't this year.

I liked Andy....but this whole scenario is putting me off him. I think I expected more from him...I can't put my finger on it.
This whole thing has been a complete sham...all this outside influence makes the whole concept a complete farce.

It wasn't even entertaining for me we got virtually no action from the house all we got was the stupid family moments. I was really enjoying the series but this has potentially ruined it for me.

Outside influence is ****ing annoying but I guess its part of the show now. lets not pretend this is a new thing either when hey have had 'letters' as long as I can remember and in bb10 they even had a ****ing day out of the house in ****ing London :joker:

At least with older series when they recieved letters/videos from home and BB10's London trip thing they weren't actually told anything about their time in the house. Like with the letters from home BB would make sure the family/friends made no mention of how the housemates were being percieved, and as stupid as David and Lisa's trip was, no one really knew it was them under the costume. But now BB make no effort in ensuring this, and the most sad thing about this is that they have probably encouraged these 'guests' to dish out outside information. It's all a big joke.

Exactly. It just isn't BB anymore imo

This is a nasty, horrible task. If Bozo from the States and Laura really cared about each other they would have gotten their arses across the pond years ago. Bringing in the dog was cruel, and now they might bring in kids? Also, I really don't care about contestants taking to their Mums, friends, exes, etc. It's boring.

WOW a thread where we all agree lol Has this ever happened? Ha x
Anyway what really gets me is the fact with BB the winner really needs to earn their prize and as they've seen and been talking to loved ones it does take away the achievement of living in isolation for so long with a bunch of nutters which we can all pass judgment on but it must be extremely difficult.
TBH I would also like them to take that prize money down why give someone £100,000 for 8 weeks when seeing family and friends during that time nah sorry you haven't earned it go back to the £70,000 old school prize.
Wasn't BB8 over 100 days? This means its literally halved!

I quite like the new twist where they learn about how they've been perceived, it makes them act as they see fit, even if it isn't in their own best interest to do so.
