I think it could be the worse thing c5 has ever done

an awful decision
It's absolutly awful. I wondered how they were going to make Alex win. We just found out.

Just leaves it more open to manipulation from the producers really.

Id rather have poll / app voting than the housemates deciding who goes.

Every time they've done this it's been a flop.. Why do they do the same things and expect different results..

Hardly fair, its supposed to be who the public want out,the housemates will just pick people they don't like,I really don't see the point.

Housemates decided who's evicted next week? Can you tell me whats happening next week?

As much as I prefer the usa/canada voting format... It's a terrible idea because they will do it for personal reasons

not when the result will be even worse than if the public decided
As I said in the other thread after my initial excitement I realised this may still not work out well, but in principle people being evicted at the hands of their fellow housemates is far fairer and I can accept dire results much more because of it

if ch5 want to p**s off the people who watch BB then it must be a good idea

it'd be fun if the evictees went straight to the other house, and then if it was 50/50 in each house the public gets to decide which group stays as finalists

this. they are just pulling the wool over our eyes. they have come up with a way to boot a load out cos they are finishing the series early

I'll probably stop watching after next week since it'll just be the clique left.

I also love how they've tried to market this like it's a game changing twist when this is the same **** they've pulled in the last two seasons.

Surely this just gravitates towards the clique ruling the roost.
Jason, Andy, Chelsea and Jayne don't have a hope.

it proves they dont give a damn what we, the viewers, want
mysargasso
08-07-2016, 10:28 PM
Absolutely terrible idea. Its disempowering to the viewers who are central to the BB experience in the first place. And it's empowering the annoying clique in the house to sweep out housemates that they don't like and keep others that don't deserve to be in the finals.

is there a way to get our feeling across to BB. we dont want this. it should ultimately be our choice who ends up in the final

I'd say let their ratings drop very low during this week and maybe they'll get the message. Maybe...

They already know there is going to be carnage next week, what a car crash - head long into a block wall.
Apparently one of the boy friends said when he was leaving...." see you all in 3 weeks"

just been on twitter & voiced my opinion. it should be up to us who is evicted

If you're going to play by US rules, then actually play by US rules
I don't know how to feel. Some times the house voting produces a good result (Vanessa getting evicted over Makosi in BB6/Sam getting evicted over Chloe in BB16/Winston getting evicted over Nancy in CBB17) but it can have bad results too (Danielle getting evicted over a house full of bores in BB15/Farrah getting evicted in CBB16). We'll see!

Absolutely. Great for the clique, goodbye Andy, Jason, Jayne. And goodbye me.
BB is supposed to be about YOU DECIDE.

It makes a change from 'who goes - BB decides', so I say give it a chance.
Ashley.
09-07-2016, 08:25 AM
No, on this show too!
Yeah but it's not going to involve the housemates voting to evict, is it? Just various 'killer' evictions. Even in the American show it's quite an awful idea.
I'll see how it plays out, but I dont want to end up with awful finalists because of it.

Terrible idea for me, by all means put them up but not then decide who goes without a public vote.

Very bad idea, it should always be the public who votes who's going out.

I'm sure they'll gear it to try and get some of the duds (ie. Alex) out of the house.
Maybe it links to the request for viewers opinions put out last night. The house has to decide between who the public voted the most boring, bitchiest, deceitful etc.
hot2go
09-07-2016, 08:53 AM
Crap idea. .... Confirm that the young ones are cheating then give em the power to run the show.
It's just a way to dumb down standards so they can fill the final with morons who's only achievements and ambitions are twirking and fake tans.
There will be no diversity after this week, only a house full of dummies.

Depends how they do it I suppose a lot are assuming the clique will have control but what if the HMs have to decide between two task losers who might both be In the clique  at any rate I don't particularly care about most of them if I'm honest, Jayne ftw :hee:

Thing is MULTIPLE people are going. So not only can we potentially lose 1 person, but 4-5 big characters.
Lateysha, Alex and Sam will stay.... it's a travesty.

if a combination of Alex, Jackson and latesha goes... all for it

09-07-2016, 01:44 PM
I don't think they'd be doing it if it was as simple as "the housemates choose who goes", because they know from nominations that people like Alex/Sam would stay, and people like Jayne/Andy would leave, which I don't they'd want... unless they've given up caring. There's probably more to it so I'm gonna wait and see, I don't particularly like the sound of it from what we know so far though.

Hughie and Ryan are a funny double act even though I wouldn't associate with them in real life and Jackson, Andy and Jason are my top three.

How the show can keep surviving after Power Trip, Timebomb and now this mess... the producers dont deserve to work again once this show is put out of its misery.

Because now we get left with a Sam, Alex, Jackson final. Who wants that. Even their own families don't ****ing want that.

Meh. It hurts me that Andy will go and Alex still stay. I'm scared for Jason and Jayne too.

I like all five of them and wouldn't mind either of these winning. I think Hughie and Ryan make a cute couple and they make me laugh so much. Ryan especially has been quite surprising. I expected him to be an ass, but he's actually quite sweet
