Aye, the girl is one of those people that what is actually said isn't what she actually hears.

I will say now. make no mistake, these two knew that they were both going in the house.

Strange innit, she says that he was making promises etc to her, but neither Emma or Rylan said that Jason wasn't there to defend himself and that they only had her word for it, they just took it as gospel.

Personally, I don't think we saw the real Charlie in there, I think she is a million times worse than that and Jason could well be advised of moving to another county or even another country to be rid of her.
