...is there anything more pathetic? Maybe I'm lacking in empathy when it comes to parenthood because I'm not, but I just cannot imagine a world in which I can attempt to reason "hmm... I'm not going to see my son for 2-3 months... but it's all because I might win some money at the end of it and finger someone else on telly..." Absolutely baffling and I still bet he ends up at least third.

(And yes you could make this about Lateysha as well but I've made this thread specifically because Jackson says in his plea as to why he should stay, that he's doing this for his son)

Makes me wonder how anybody has ever had a child ever ever when they clearly need at least 100k in their bank to kickstart a family. Hm.

To be fair, if he wins i will have to reluctantly title him the best gameplayer ever.

Really? I don't think this thread is about a new phenomenon, I'm sure many have used it in the past.

Its not just that, his undevoted love for Georgina, his teary eyes at evictions, his 'ive been on a journey to get here'. Everything he does just seems so calculated to me. Hes just being a cliche whilst presuming hes winning over the publics hearts. And if im not just cynical and its true, then hes a great gameplayer cus its working, hes popular.

Yes, if it's attributed to Jackson then same rules apply to Lateysha.

Let's not forget how she turned on the water works and started howling about her baby when Hughie fronted up to her about bitching behind his back and being two faced.

If they loved their kids that much, they wouldn't be on national tv embarrassing the hell out of them and providing their friends at school with a bat to belt them over the head with because their mummy was a slapper that had sex on tv, or made a dick of themselves for viewer pleasure in return for enough money to buy a Gucci bag or get wasted. These idiots that claim they are doing it for their kids should be at home educating them and nurturing them, not ignoring them in search of personal fame.

I'm still seething over his 'I've had a hard week' remark when he and Lateysha were guzzling the housemates booze. A hard week?:conf: the little pipsqueak wants to get a real job, THEN he can moan about having a hard week.:fist:

You can't separate yourself from your child for two months then use them as an excuse as to why you should win. That just doesn't sit well with me, I'm sorry.

Then there's the generic X Factor style cringe

" I've got so much more to give " - Ryan
" I feel I've been true to myself " - Sam

Five weeks and that's the best they could come up with ...next they'll be saying they made it their own

Housemates like Jackson annoy me.

Any kind of sob story should be destroyed imo, we're suppose to be judging you based on entertainment and likability, not on your kids, or a dead Brother or whatever the particular sob story is.

Tbf some families do need both parents working.

And yes BB does help get work... Well it used to.

The majority go to work "for their kids" so no, I don't buy going on a reality television show as him doing it out of love for his son.

It pissed me off when he said that. That's basically saying to the other housemates kee me in so I ca provide better for my kid. What housemates are going to be like ok BYE JACKSON.

So annoying.

It's the worst kind of emotional blackmail. Maybe he's better suited to Miss "I don't like the fact he cares about his kid" after all.

Using it as a shield to keep them safe is unfair. They don't deserve a prize for having an unsafe sex...

I don't personally see any wrong in a person with kids going in and saying yeah it would benifit them because ultimately it would benifit the kid.

But I do agree Jackson using his song as a plea to stay was like emotional blackmail

No one should leave a small baby to go in a tv show ,if they need money go work in McDonalds or somewhere

Mothers who leave babies to go away for weeks on end are not doing it for their babies, they are doing it for themselves

And fathers...

Father using their kids is terrible, but its more natural for fathers to work away from home than mothers .a mothers place is in the home ,esp when they have babies

..really what Amy said also ad not just for the financial/money thing which would benefit his son also but because him doing things I his life, which are his 'dreams and goals' etc and him feeling personal fulfilments will also benefit his son because a parent needs to still achieve things for themselves as well../they don't stop being a person in their own right...his son is being well cared for by his mother and is very young/a toddler and I doubt that Jackson's time in the house will have any negative effect on him at this time...

Don't forget:

" I've really come out of my shell " - Laura

She should have stayed in it.
